No quality control, two sets will not ever sound the same.
Got two sets with a Plex pro setup Bass, first set was fine and then the core of the A let go, replaced entire set and strings have a dual tone, as if two different metals are making a muddy chord. Had this issue with Cobalt Flat-wounds and there is no getting rid of crap quality control. Stretched, checked brand new nut and bridge, the instrument is perfect, just crap strings.
They saved .01 cents on this string so they could increase profits, the result , two sets went in the trash and I will buy strings from a company demands quality control.
