Ive been playing guitar for a long time, okay Ill tell you since youre wondering now... 1987, lol This is a super comfortable strap 42 inch was perfect for me theres a larger one but this size is right for me. Feels great and looks nice, I highly recommend it and I have quite a few of these premium leather EVH straps.These are the most comfortable that Ive ever tried. Very comfortable and easy to adjust. Feels like good quality materials. I've only been using it for about a month, so we will see how it holds up. So far I love it and would buy it again.

If you're a gigging musician get this strap & the strap clasps with eye hooks....Ed totally fixed the strap button coming loose or the strap coming off....i know other strap locks work & it's tuff to screw in the eye hooks because you feel like your hurting your guitar but it's better than dropping it & I've gotten tons of compliments on how cool it looks... i highly recommend this setup

It is comfortable and looks perfect with my EVH striped Frankenstein. I wanted something that helped me play better and looks great, and that is what I got.

This is the second one of these straps that I have purchased. The straps are wide enough for my liking and comfortable.

I have had one of these straps for over 3 years. They are not leather and wear out above the strap locks. They are however very comfortable and look great. Just not worth how much they cost.

Fits great! Very comfortable. The Velcro allows me to adjust the strap length to exactly what I want. Other straps with holes have been frustrating because I get a setting that's too short or too long. Not a problem with the EVH Strap, its perfect!

I love the strap but it is too long. I like my guitar where Ed has his. I'm 5 foot tall maybe I'm just doing something wrong.

The premium guitar strap of EVH is awesome. I have no problems with it. I was able to get the nylon EVH strap which was kinda rough along the edges, and was digging into my skin (neck), which prompted me to get the premium. It did take a while, but it was worth the wait. I have two of the leather ones and two of the nylon ones. I did want that EVH logo and of course I paid to get it. The Velcro adjustment is a rather nice way to add the EVH Dog clasps and they have a regular tab for "normal" strap ends. The leather straps are actually a better value for what little they cost more than the nylon version. One could say they are a bit thicker and a bit stiffer with the Velcro feature. Does not bother me but I see the potential for some to think that.

I’m not even a big VH fan. But i thought these were a really cool strap back in the 90s, and so I bought quite a few. Well they’re all starting to get old and worn, and so I was happy to see that there’s a new one out. The dual Velcro adjustment is neat, and gives you better overall length control, since you’re not relying on just one strip. The ends are far, far beefier than the original, which I really appreciate. I didn’t have to do any modification to get schaller strap locks to fit. I wouldn’t hesitate to replace all of my old straps with these new ones. Great product.

I have made 2 leather straps my self that I am proud of!
But I needed something that works with the EVH clasp on my Wolf. Nice design that works!
I hit it with some Lexol leather conditioner as I do all of my straps and it"s a keeper!

Most comfortable strap I've ever used. When used with the strap lock clasps it's intended for it's really a great setup. Out of the package I actually wasn't too impressed though. It felt flimsy and cheap and not at all what I was expecting. But once I started using it I was very impressed. This Is a great strap and worth the $...

2 things. There are 2 sizes. One is waaay too long. And the other some complain about being too short. I prefer the shorter one.

Mine came stock with my expensive USA signature model with the eyelet hooks. Claims to be leather. But I"ve never worn out a strap in 30 plus years. This leather is cracking and splitting. Looks like cheap pleather in reality. I"m kinda stuck buying a new one to keep the look and ability to use eyelet hooks. But shouldn"t have to replace a strap annually.

It is a reasonable quality strap and I'd like it a lot if it could adjust 4-6 more inches. This could be possible if they hadn't over-killed on the length of the 'hook' portion of the velcro, and instead lengthened the 'net' portion. I'm going to try and modify mine to get the extra length I prefer... I will confess, I like a lower slung axe than most folks.
I love ALL of my other eVh gear: Amps, guitars, pedals... but this one disappoints. I won't hold it against the brand... they can't knock EVERYTHING out of the park.

The quality is something out of 1980s china. Very poor. Cheap Not worth the price!

Comfortable and adjustable at both ends. Wish it was a bit longer but it works well.

I bought several EVH straps back in the 90s when I had an endorsement deal with Peavey and thought it was a really nice strap especially for the price (back then). I had three EVH peavey guitars and when I moved back to Chicago to start a new career I gave my extra EVH straps to the people who bought two of my EVH guitars from me (so I could have money to move). I regret not asking more for the guitar or just not including the strap.
Now i understand why the old ones retain such high prices. The new ones aren't bad but they just are not as comfortable or as flexible in adjusting the size. Weird but it is true

I didn't know there was a longer strap!
The strap I received is very short and useless for adjustments.
I'm was very unhappy and I don't like returning orders cause it is such a hassel and getting another one takes way to long.
I'll have to go to GuitarCenter or Musicians Friend from now on:(((((

Strap is shorter than stated and the buckle can hit your guitar...
I paid a lot of $$$ for this strap and I am very disappointed...
Don't waste your money...
Get a full leather next time...

Honestly the last strap I purchased was twenty years ago and went to a local music store looking for a replacement, all of them were too short. This EVH strap not only is long enough but is much easier to adjust the length. There is no padding on the strap which I knew prior to purchasing which again is perfect for me, never cared for padding. At least for me I can put this strap on a heavy Les Paul and no discomfort for long periods of time. The material and workmanship is top notch, nothing cheap at all about this strap. One last thing, the holes on both ends appear to be designed for using strap locks which IMHO nobody should be without. Recently say an old vido of Eric Clapton losing a Strat over this. So get this strap and lockers for the strap while you are at it from Sweetwater.
