Action comes into this a lot - I find I can enjoy a lesser quality piano with a great keybed attached more than a really great piano sample with a lower-quality keybed.
The ES120 has the highly sensitive smooth RHC Improved (Improved dampening felt) action. The dynamic control is really outstanding. It's SK-EX Kawai grand piano sample set is quite beaut and emotionally expressive. The vintage Rhodes electron piano has been updated and now sounds quite authentic, especially when I turn Off the Effects and save it. NOTE: The ES120 default setting employs a "Speaker EQ" which boosts the treble too much and lends it a thinner tone. I recommend that the guest thing a user dies is turn it Off and save it to power in with it Off. It also effects the line outs!
