Evans E Rings
These are perfect. I hate using the gels that collect dust and these muffle the drum just right. PS I highly recommend spending the money on the EV2 heads they will change your world!
Great for snare
I have been trying to get the right tone for a new Texas swing band and the e-ring was just the fix for my snare. Only 4 stars because you have to purchase a pack, wish I could purchase just what I needed.
Tom Tone Control
I have a small music studio so control of sound levels and overtones is important.
I have been using moonjel and it works okay. But I've been looking for a better alternative. The Evans muting rings seem to fit the bill! They provide just enough sound control and give my Tom's a fatter sound which works well in my studio. And they're so easy to install and remove for gigs in larger venues.
I was concerned that they would "float" too much on the drum heads. But they hold tight and don't create any unwanted "buzz".
