The Great River Electronics EQ-2NV is a 2-channel digitally-controlled, analog-driven equalizer that has a topology similar to that of vintage 1081/1083 models. Modern improvements enable the newly designed Class A, discrete single-ended amplifier in the EQ-2NV to add greater clarity and dynamic range to the musicality and control of the vintage 108x models. The EQ-2NV has been specifically designed to work with Great River NV Series microphone preamplifiers' patch loop to offer greater flexibility in both tracking and mixing environments.

Exceptional EQ
Great analogue EQ, a little goes a long way on this beautiful piece of gear.
It is very flexible and depending on how its used, it can add nice colour to your recordings.
Absolutely one of the best EQ's out there
I've tried EQ's. This one I got the chance to try (and keep I might add) and let me tell you I really like it. Don't be turned off by the fact that this is a "special order" - trust me (i know famous last words) you'll still be glad you committed to buy this processor. I'm usually used to working with Inward Connections' EQ's 500 series, Neve 551 EQ's, etc., but this particular EQ, unlike any other i.e. Summit Audio EQP-200B, et. al., when disabling Stereo Link, makes for an interesting side trip in EQ'ing. You can easily dial in exactly how much you want on your lows, low-mids, mids, mid-highs and highs. No more guess work you got it all there and its analog. Perfect!
