I've been using two of these for a duo with backing tracks for small and medium size gigs. They've been great, like all EV stuff, IMO (had EV cabs for about 30 years now). I've had them outside in the hot, sweaty Gulf Coast summers for 4 hour gigs and they have not let me down. They will get a bit warm, but so far, no failures. And they sound good and full. They're good for recorded music too. I just added a single ELX200-12SP (12" powered sub). It's a great combo, and pretty portable. You could easily DJ (small/medium gigs) with this rig I think.

Throughout the last two years, I have consistently been trying to get equipment that will get me to the level. I need to be at without constantly having to upgrade. At the recommendation of a fellow DJ I contacted Sweetwater and Derek made some suggestions and gave me an estimate and I am now the proud owner of some gorgeous EV equipment. The balance, the fact that I can link the speakers to the subwoofer, the simple click of the button has provided a sound experience that provides the best quality for my clients. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I have had a lot of audio gear through the years it was time to replace my main speakers and a huge shout out to Jerrod for helping in the process very pleased with these speakers. I replaced my old 15 in JBl mains sure they played loud like so many other gear but if you truly are into better sound quality these speakers are loud and clear. I just did 2 smaller backyard parties and got compliments how good the EVs sound. Its like details came alive in vocals and guitar things easily missed with my old setup. Best part these are half the weight and smaller making them easy to move with very easy setup. Dont let the size fool you these have decent power and punch, these are not huge bass speakers but reproduce lower notes surprisingly well not muddy. I paired it up with one elx200 18 in sub which added to great sound I agree with other reviews that a second sub will do a better fill on low end. Big points for me are quick flexible setup, lighter weight, great power and sound quality. I ran these through RCA right off my phone and projector 3.5 mm jack and used the xlr output to the sub.

Great sound, very impressive speaker's
Would definitely recommend these anyone Looking for that level of loud .
Makes it nice I never have to run my speakers more than half way.

I am responsible for sound in a working band playing nearly 100 shows a year. Our primary equipment failed after many years of abuse, and I purchased these speakers. It has been a month, and they work amazing. Paired with the subs, the sound quality is superb. I have no problem create a robust sound for a small venue or outdoor show. Well worth the value.

However, don't be fooled by the Bluetooth capabilities. BT is only good for controlling sound, you cannot Bluetooth your phone to it and play music. You'll need a separate Bluetooth receiver. Other wise it is great.

I have had a pair of these for a few months and have used them at several gigs. Normally I have them paired with at least one 18" subwoofer, but they sound amazing without for the smaller more intimate events. They have a rich, balanced sound without any need for adjusting the eq settings.

The bluetooth app allow for level adjustment out front. This is very helpful since I am a one man show.

I purchased the covers at the same time and I would recommend that to anyone who uses them in a mobile capacity.

I will be looking to add another pair of the 12's and possibly a pair of the 15's to my equipment very soon.

Bought one of these speakers and was shocked at how clean and clear the sound is. These have 1200 watts and can get really loud. I will be purchasing another one very soon.
