Double cut is back
I thought it would be just a guitar i would upgrade parts to,i was dead wrong. It sounds great,frets and setup out of the box were ok just a little tinkering got it going,and boy was i surprised with the sound. Great through my Jvm 100 with my 4 greenback speakers. No muddy sound just smooth controlled tone.i had 3 Gibson doubled cut guitars and had made trades, now i am so happy i got this one with no need to change pickups,i just sit play and enjoy.
Epiphone excellence
I have only had this guitar for a few weeks, but can say that this Epiphone is an extremely nice guitar. Fit and finish were perfect. Not a single flaw. I thought I would want to change out the pick-ups for Gibson 57 classics. But I see no need. The stock pick-ups are fine. Tone is very good. The guitar arrived with perfect action. I have not made any tweaks yet. I did add some Gibson silver/black too hat knobs to give it a more vintage look. Please see my picture.
I also own a 2013 Gibson Les Paul Traditional, as well as a 2019 Gibson Flying V. Both purchased new. This Epi was a perfect addition to my collection at a fraction of the cost. simply love this guitar. Glad I picked one up.
Great guitar and a great value
Love this LP special. Finish is super, playability is very good, pickups are nice as well. Has a lot of neck dive if that bothers you. I usually play sitting down so it's not an issue for me. Epiphone keeps getting better and better. Great guitar! Oh one of the best things for me is mine weighs 7lb 1oz I love a light guitar!
