When one pays $ for an electric guitar they have certain expectations such as a full set of controls. Also, I love MIJ guitars, but now that they cost more then Gibson there's no reason to buy. It's just not a good deal

Always wondered if the E2's were as good as everyone says they are. I mean the LTD EC1000 is a great guitar but I was ready for the next step in quality and took the chance. First off my sales engineer Myron Fett was fantastic and was in contact through the whole process. One thing is for sure Sweetwater hands down rules the arena when it comes to customer service. The guitar arrived pre-inspected, tuned and ready to go. Flawless, not a buzz, crackle or blemish. The neck feels great, like a deeper C. The EMG's are for rock and metal but hey even Gary Moore used EMGs for a bit in his strat so overdriven blues, hell yeah. So if your like me and curious about the E2's I say go for it. It's dripping with quality and it's evident as soon as you pull it out of the case.

I got this guitar about a month and a half ago, so I've had some time to play it quite a bit, and man what an instrument. The quality is superb; I've not found any flaws in the frets, finish, or anything else. It's so smooth to play, and the EMG pickups sound amazing both clean and with some heavy distortion. And, of course, it looks gorgeous.

I have 15 guitars, this one is by far my favorite. Plays and sounds better than my Les Pauls. Great value, craftsmanship, design, balance, feel, sound....love it!

So I didn't order this guitar without some previous experience with the ESP/LTD brand. I had an LTD ec401 with Duncan's about 4 years ago. What I wasn't expecting was an instrument that had this level of quality. I had never paid this much for a guitar before and not being able to play it first, I was a little nervous. My sales engineer, Adam Szmurlo answered all of my questions and made sure that i was well taken care of. It arrived on Tuesday night whixh was 2 days earlier than was promised. As soon as it arrived, I couldnt wait to open the box.What I experienced when I opened the case was nothing short of a complete religious experience. She was flawless! I must have just stared at her for probably 15 minutes before I picked her up but, as soon as I did I knew that I had made the right choice. I can't believe that I have an honest to god ESP! The fit and finish is flawless and it is miles above in quality than any Les Paul I have ever owned ( I've owned 6). I'll never sell my baby! I am an ESP player for life now!

At first I was hesitant to buy an expensive foreign made guitar as I like American made ones by Gibson and Fender but after research and trying one out, I was hooked! The raw power, amazing looks and lighter than a Les Paul form factor along with the hot EMG pickups was exactly what the doctor ordered for rock and metal styles of music that I want to play.

Buying from Sweetwater was painless and a joy. My sales engineer Jorge Padilla was super helpful and patient in the buying process and photos of my new arrival were encouraging before it arrived in perfect condition! My guitar teacher has a lot of experience with the luthier process of building and modifying guitars and he looked it over after my first lesson and gave his professional thumbs up that the guitar arrived in perfect shape and was well tuned! So the Sweetwater guitar tech did a fantastic job as well and it was cool to see the photos.

This guitar is great. From fit to finish it is staggering how good it is. The X-jumbo frets and the slim neck profile make this guitar effortless to play. The hardware is beautiful and is set off nicely by the vintage binding. The fretboard is a coated piece of ebony that looks great with the pealoid flag inlays.
The EMG pickups are quite versatile, and sound amazing in this beast.

All-in-all I can't say enough about this guitar, if you are thinking about getting just do it! And get it from Sweetwater!

This guitar is amazing! The look and finish is super smooth. Awesome playability and tone Aswell. Super fat sounding. It's got some weight to it but not as much as a les Paul which is nice. I would've given it a 5 out of 5 but the tone selector switch tends to come loose quickly and feels wobbly in the middle position but other than that it's near perfect. Chris goldback was awesome and gave me a great deal on it! Highly recommend this guitar!

This thing is the real deal. I got the vintage black with emg pickups. Couldn't be happier. One sweet deal!

Short but sweet, I couldn't be happier... Quality is excellent, as good as my ESP Standard Horizon, almost :) Plays, sounds, and looks are all excellent!!!
