Epiphone EJ-200SCE Left Hand - Vintage Sunburst
Being left handed, I really was trying to obtain a Gibson J200 without much luck, when I saw these guitars and was quite a bit gun shy about buying an imported look alike. After much procrastination, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered one from Sweetwater, as I love their customer service. The guitar arrived the next day! and I was really blown away by the quality and sound of this guitar. I have spent more than twice the amount on other name brands that frankly sounded like $100 specials. The built in tuner is quite a nice touch along with the electronics make this guitar sound awesome thru every amp I have hooked it up too.The finish of this guitar is pretty awesome with the gold trim and binding, along with the inlays on the neck. Try it, you'll like it!!
Great looking Guitar, but needs Luthier help out of the box.
Great looks, poor playability, due to a very low saddle and an incorrectly cut nut. You'll be spending over $ to get a new saddle and nut installed, to be sure. Not that you shouldn't do it, it will be worth doing, but the saddle could have been left high and the nut as well. It's easier to remove material, but once it's gone, you're in for a full replacement.
