Wow. Wow!!!

I am really impressed with the build quality of this guitar. It is simply beautiful. Not sure what else to say other than make sure you grab one of these!

Awesome Ec-1000

By Travis Kelsey from MIDDLEBURG, FL on February 6, 2024 Music Background: Hobbyist/Metalhead

The color jumped out to me instantly. It's pretty in photos but even more so in person. The EMG's pups really sound great and deliver that true EMG tone you know and love.

Guitar came to me with 10's and for E standard just a bit too tight for my liking. Swapped to some 9's and the guitar was great. Minimum buzzing but intonation was spot on.

I bought my first ec-1000 back in 2009 and playing this one made me realize I never should have gotten rid of it.

This thing shreds!

Amazing guitar, definitely recommend!

By Luka from Wisconsin on April 9, 2023 Music Background: Been playing guitar and some bass for nearly a year

This guitar is honestly amazing! It's my first serious guitar, so it's a big step up from my crappy 20 year old Yamaha. The quality on this instrument is amazing, especially for its price. I don't have too much experience, but it feels like the quality outweighs the price a ton. There aren't any reviews on this guitar currently, so I will go a bit in depth.

The hardware and tuners are all great. The tuners move smoothly and are responsive, and the locking system works perfectly. The knobs are smooth and the selector switch is a bit stiff, but that might change with some use. For whatever reason, fitting the cable into the output jack is a bit of a struggle, because it is an extremely tight fit.

The fretboard is extremely smooth and well polished, it feels like glass! The stainless steel frets are super smooth and shiny, bends are very easy now. No sharp or uneven fret edges, everything is good there. The pickups are what you expect them to be, EMGs sound basically the same in every guitar. The 81 is very good, though, its aggressive, crunchy, and superrr tight. Sounds amazing when playing metal, and the 60 is good for cleans.

Now, I had Sweetwater set up the guitar with low action, as well as replace the plastic nut with bone. The nut is awesome, the sustain just lasts forever! There is a little bit too much fret buzz, though, and the low E buzzes a little bit when I hit it. Might just need a string change though.

All in all, this guitar is amazing and I highly recommend purchasing it! LTD is one of the greatest bang for the buck companies out there, and their quality is great.
