Simply said this was the best choice for my Ibanez 6. Since I'm required to play more than one genre many setups/basses was needed. Well that is drastically reduced now. These are great for bends ,speed playing ,and when slapping they remain crisp when in the basement while still allowing the mids to be distingishable. GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

While I'm in experimental mode with getting best balance between bass, strings , amp/settings ,and effects I found that these strings are really great ; however this was not the best choice for my Brazilian made "Tagima" . I put them on my peavey dyna and oh heck yeah they do the job through all playing positions. So unfortunately I'm back to mixing 3 different types of strings
Excellent Bass Strings
Ernie Ball is my preferred bass string. I won't use anything else. These strings are flexible with a nice feel and not stiff. They fit perfectly on my LTD B206SM 6-string bass. I had NYXL 32-130 before, and while they sounded pretty decent, they had too much tension and felt stiff under my fingers. Switching to these was like night and day for me. Highly recommended.
Great Strings
Ernie Ball strings have been my choice for stings for over 20 years. I have played strings that sounded better but I have never found another brand that is as consistant and such a good value as Ernie Ball. They sound great fresh and when they start to fade I can adjust my attack and still make them sound good. They do not get all chalky,scratchy and tinny sounding as they wear out. I put regular Sinky's on all of my electric guitars and basses and I am confident in my strings on whichever guitar I am playing.
