Great Stings
I love these strings. Wnen I put them on my all mahogany dreadnaught and play with my bluegrass band they sound awesome!
For that music I'm playing the boom chuck rhythm style and it works beautifully. That last for a while but the stings will dull and you'll need to put a new set on if you want the new sound.
I also play with a strumming style with a bass player and a drummer who plays electric hand sonic drums. And they sound great that way as well. Even after dulling some. Now I have to say I think my all Mahogany dreadnaught has a lot to do with how well these strings respond in these two situations. The guitar sound with these stings on sounds really good in the mix. So I'll say it again... I love these strings!
Neck swap shock
These are the only strings I've found that lessen the neck shock switching from the electric to acoustic guitar in the middle of a set. The unwound third is a large part of this. If your acoustic and electric guitars have similar necks these strings are a must have. If you're planning on switching to electric these strings should help make the transition easier.
