It's a Countryman E6 - there's a reason why 99% of the public speakers you see are wearing one. Good gain before feedback, low noice floor, slim design. The stock cable that runs from the mic to the transmitter is crap. Buy a (ridiculously overpriced) backup and sleep better at night.
One key to using this mic, DON'T START TRYING TO BEND IT AROUND YOUR EAR!. Place the lower section just under the earlobe and let the top compress around the top part of the ear.
I use these with public speakers all the time and if positioned in this way, they should have no issues - even speakers who wear glasses.
