Acoustic Guitar with Spruce Top, Mahogany Back and Sides, Mahogany Neck, and Rosewood Fingerboard - Sunburst

The E6-LGSS-TC-SB pays tribute to one of America’s premier small-bodied 6-strings, elevating the formula with a choice selection of alluring Eastman modifications and the brand’s Thermo-cure technology. In classic slope-shoulder fashion, this guitar starts with a short 24.75-inch scale length for a slinky, easy-to-play feel. An all-solid tonewood configuration consisting of a Thermo-cured Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides capture the dry, crisp, and direct quality so sought after by singer/songwriters, forming a perfect sonic backdrop for your voice to shine over. What’s more, this premium-grade guitar ups the ante even further with a glassy rosewood fingerboard, Traditional Even C mahogany neck, hand-carved scalloped X-bracing, and a Truetone Gloss finish. With one foot in the past and one foot in the future, the Eastman E6-LGSS-TC-SB is a professional-grade instrument crafted in the handbuilt tradition, ready to go head-to-head with even the most brilliant boutique instruments.

Fabulous guitar

By Elmer f. from Northern mi.
Music Background: Old fart that loves to play guitar

I love the size of this guitar, it's very easy to play chilling on the couch and it sounds Fabulous. One of my favorite guitars to play. The necks are perfect with 1 3/4 nut and fits my hand perfectly. Sounds really good and can be flat picked loud for its size or finger picked quietly when I play late at night. The longer I own it and the more I play it it just seems to sound better and better.

Just got this baby! Perfect!

By Paul F. from New York, NY

I have a bunch of electric guitars - archtop, semi-hollows, solid body, and headless. I recently sold my one dread naught, which I hadn't touched in years. it was a Guild D25 that I had bought new in 1978 or 1979. I have also had and sold a Baby Taylor and Little Martin, both travel guitars. this one is slightly smaller than a standard dread naught and is easier to pick up and hold than the Guild. It sounds great and is finished to perfection. I'll probably bring it in for a set-up in 6 months, but in the meantime, it is very playable.

This was my 1st guitar purchase from Sweetwater. I like the fact that they actually take it out if the box and photograph it. In any event, better than my guitar purchases from some other online guitar dealers where I've needed a lot more work right from the get go!

I checked out online chats and you tube videos before finalizing my decision to purchase. I also know someone who has owned an Eastman archtop for several years and I have played it and felt that the company is highly reputable. Since I can't play w/o mistakes, take this demo for what it's worth :-(

What a lovely take on the LG2! The E6-LGSS-TC I received is truly wonderful- super balanced and just sings.
I expected to see some imperfections- but the build it appears to be immaculate. The setup was perfect out of the box for as well- AWESOME! Love the case too- I'm Happy!
