Eastman serves up another instant classic with the fluid playability and solid wood construction of its E1OM orchestra model acoustic guitar. Yes, you read correctly, this guitar boasts an all-solid wood construction, leveraging a Sitka spruce top, sapele back and sides, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard. Sweetwater has to hand it to Eastman for putting its handcrafted signature on these guitars — notably, auxiliary resonance enhancers like scalloped X-bracing and a dovetail neck joint. A superb choice for fingerstyle or folk, the E1OM sits easily on the knee for a laid-back playing experience. Combined with the balanced and warm tone of this guitar’s tonewoods, the orchestra body doles out prime acoustic character!

Beautiful guitar, solid wood tone
I bought this to replace another OM/OOO sized stage acoustic that simply wasn't cutting it. The setup was just right for me and my acoustic playing, I like the strings just a tad higher so I can feel where I'm actually pressing. Fret crowns are a little rough still, so some additional polishing might be in order if you want that smooth-as-glass touch and feel. Satin finish all over doesn't get sticky or gross when playing, stays in tune beautifully. I installed a K&K Pure Sound mini pickup in it and it sounds incredible. Still needs some time to break in fully but this guitar will be a worthy addition to my stage guitar arsenal.
Eastman E1OM Classic
This guitar is an incredible value. Feels and plays like a much more expensive guitar. Lots of great features not usually seen at this price. Great for fingerstyle with 1.75" nut and more impressive is the clear and consistent midrange projection. Some guitars project the highs and lows and are sort of muddy in the middle, but this projects evenly across the fretboard which is dynamite for fingerstyle. The sustain is also fantastic. Really enjoying this one.
