Mighty Bright DuoFlex Music Stand Light
Mighty Bright DuoFlex Music Stand Light Reviews
Add powerful, personal light to your music stand or pedalboard with the Mighty Bright DuoFlex. Two flexible heads give you even coverage for up to three sheets of music. A quartet of energy-efficient LEDs delivers 40 lumens of warm-white light through optical-grade lenses for accurate spread and color rendering. Sharing music with a buddy? Independent dimming for each head (three steps) dials in the perfect amount of personal light without blinding your neighbor or your audience. Long session? The DuoFlex gives you up to 15 hours of battery life over three AAAs (not included). And for more permanent installs, the DuoFlex's continuous USB charger and 100,000-hour LEDs give you lasting, cash-saving luminance.
nice flezi light
The flexible stems make it possible to put light on the stand without glare.
Alien Eyes
Worked well for application, music stand for pit band.
Seems yo have great battery life, one rehearsal and three performances and going strong.
USB charge port stopped working
After about a year the unit would no longer turn on through the USB port. Relegated to using batteries and switching the power off between sets to conserve battery life. The clip tension could be stronger, as well.
Mighty Brite music light
I bought one years ago and then stopped playing my instrument. Now I am back to playing. The switch on the right side would only light up one of the bulbs at first, then neither bulb on that side would work. I have miniature screwdrivers and took it apart, but the problem is in the flex wire and there is no way to get to that. I got about 3 hours use from this light. The replacement cost is way too high and I see no reason to buy the same light.
Dead after a year
Bought this just shy of 1 year ago, and it died a few weeks ago. Thought it was the battery, but after three different sets I realized the light just isn't working any more. It will flicker, then die. Other than that, I liked the flexible necks but didn't like the double switch functionality - you have to turn both lights on/off and since there are multiple brightnesses, it's essentially 6 clicks to turn it on, then 6 clicks to turn off (to cycle through all brightness settings).
Outstanding
Snazzy looking light, with a quality build works great!
Not recommended
I don't recommend this light, unlike the previous version which I still use. The clip is not strong at all. "Flexible" arms are not all that flexible. The brightness is less than I expected and not as effective as the previous version, and the on/off switches are difficult to use. There are better options out there!
Perfect companion
I purchased the K&M 115/2 Clamp-on Sheet Music Holder out of necessity and needed to get some sort of lighting that wasn't big or cumbersome. After looking through the list I decided to get this one… worked out just fine
Excellent Stand Light
This music stand light arrived quickly. I love that it has different brightness settings, it works great!
I See The Light
In one of my fellow musicians in the band I play in at my synagogue has been borrowing my clip on "work light" for over a year. USB and only provided about 30 minutes from a charge or a 45 minute service. Not good. As a holiday gift, I purchased a Mighty Bright DuoFlex Light for him after checking with my Sweetwater Sales Engineer, AJ Becerra. The light came and I loved it so I ordered four more for the rest of the band. This music stand light is awesome! Although it will last up to 15 hours on three AAA batteries, it also has a USB jack. I highly recommend this for a portable, mid-priced music stand light.
Worked great
I have a single and we picked up the double for my wife. Able to control the light WITHOUT blasting it at the audience. A necessity in changing light environments when you need to see music, words, lists,.......
Love it!
These lights really helped and are super flexible. Just keep an eye on the batteries so that the lights do not get too dim.
Perfect for me
Bright enough for at least 2 pages of music. Love being able to use both AC and batteries.
Great Light
This is my 3rd one. The first I used for years. Took it on a camping trip and it ended up getting rained on. So I bought the current model. Used it about 6 months and at some point it didn't make it to my guitar case. So I have #3. I keep buying the same one because I like it and it works quite well.
Just what I needed, and I'll confirm this soon, I hope!
Since my gigs are all cancelled because of the virus, haven't a chance to use this light yet - but from the living room it appears to be a really good thing and looking forward to putting it into action!!
Very Nice Light
Bought this to replace my old one I had for many years. Got soaked when a canopy collapsed during a rain storm. I loved my old one. The new model actually holds position better than the old one. Only thing I don't care for is the 3 brightnesses. I prefer having a master on off switch and not having to make multiple presses to select brightness. It's a great light though and I do recommend it.
Amp head lighting trick
I have had this for months and I love it. The dual light has 3 settings and lasts a long time on AAA batteries.
I use this light on the top of my Mesa boogie heads and clip it on the handle. Works perfect for lighting up all the amp controls in low lighting.
Perfect for live use to light up amp knobs on stage. Clip on handle with a little 1 inch block of foam Under the handle.

I have the first Mighty Bright and it's still going but recently bought another to have a backup. Will always buy this product. Great light!
