Schecter dUg Pinnick DP-12
Schecter dUg Pinnick DP-12 Reviews
At the center of King's X's multifarious prog metal arrangements, you'll find Doug "dUg" Pinnick holding down the low end with an indelible sense of groove. The Schecter dUg Pinnick DP-12 LH delivers the larger-than-life 12-string electric bass tones showcased on King's X tracks like "It's Love" and "Human Behavior," as well as on "Haven't Been Here Before" and "Mr. Hateyourself" from dUg's Emotional Animal solo outing. This 12-string bass comes armed with a contoured mahogany body, top-shelf Seymour Duncan active electronics, an ultra-playable 3-piece neck, and rock-solid Grover tuners, among other quality features. Equally majestic visually, the dUg Pinnick DP-12 LH sports an eye-grabbing "dUg" 12th-fret fingerboard inlay and a head-turning satin finish.

Very well built bass; 12 string has a steep learning curve
Love the bass. Came set up very well, nice, flawless finish, great hardware and electronics. Sounds like a freight train, in a good way, especially with the bass boosted. If this is your first multi course bass like it was mine, be prepared to spend some time getting comfortable with it. No fault of the bass, but fair warning. Super fun bass to have around, and I still can't believe that Schecter makes it available to people other than dUg in a lefty! Thanks!
