After several attempts at work arounds for issues running my pedals in series I finally decided to look into loop pedal switchers. I don't use a lot of pedal combinations, maybe three at a time at most, but the convenience of less foot taping and potential improvement in tone sent me down the loop switcher rabbit hole.

I ended up with a VooDoo Lab PX Package, I love their products and their customer service is the best so it was an easy choice.

My initial impressions, good grief what an difference in tone!!! One of the issues I had was that my boosts/drives always sounded better when I plugged straight into them. Even with just three or four TB pedals and a good buffer in front of them they loose something. With the loop switcher I get that missing 10% back and it's awesome!! All of the pedals sound better individually and stack with more clarity, it's a very noticeable improvement!

Really glad I went this route, VooDoo Lab always deliver and this is no exception, solid build quality throughout, easy preset programming and a legit improvement in tone, worth every penny.

I have had the VooDoo Lab pedalboard for a while now, and while the pedalboard itself is really nice, the case seems very cheap. The velcro straps within are poor at best, and the lack of a pouch to hold cables was a mistake in my opinion. Also, the supplied velcro doesn't seem as secure as other velcro strips I have used with other pedalboards.

I waited quite a while for these to become available and to me it was worth the wait
All three components come together very nicely
1)Pedal board- Excellent quality and layout capabilities
2)Power Supply- 12 outputs with various voltage selections- I found no noise generated from the PS in my application
3)Pedal Switcher- Herein lies the magic of the setup- Once you wire the pedals into the switcher, programming pedal selections is easy and fast!! With 9 channels and 4 Presets per channel you have quite a lot of set ups to create- You can also program your "bread and butter" presets on different channels for different songs to avoid having to move your foot around to much if on live gigs
Presets change instantaneously without any noise
I have 8 pedals connected to the switcher and a wah and tuner in-line before the switcher input. They are also powered by the 12 output P/S
The only disadvantage is that you cannot select the order of the pedals in the chain
All in all a great tool
