Absolutely blown away
This was my retirement gift from my family. I have owned Fender, Ibanez and Samick acoustic guitars and this beats the pants off of all of them. COMBINED!
This plays like an absolute dream! I have noticed it will let you know if you're doing something wrong especially with form. It belts out a deep and throaty roar that would make JC himself proud.
If you're on the fence and want a Martin, pull the trigger. You won't regret it one bit.

A Great Martin Guitar, at a great price!
This guitar is a great value and it plays really well. I have another DX1AEL style guitar, a D16, and a couple of other MIM Martins and it's amazing how close the MIM Martins are to my D16. A very temperature and humidity resistant guitar, but you should keep any guitar between 35% and 45% humidity, for the best sound.

Bang for the buck
I had mine plekked. And next to my Gibson j45 the quality of sound is comparable. It have a brighter tone than the Gibson but I will be gigging this guitar. It is impressive, being its a laminate knock around guitar. I have had it for 6 months and im still impressed
A lot of Fun
In the C F Martin world, this Johnny Cash tribute is a cheap guitar. And being left handed, my options are somewhat limited. Yet I can't believe the rich, full sound of this thing. I own several comparably priced guitars and there's no comparison in fullness of sound. I haven't even plugged it in yet. I'm just enjoying the acoustics. It's also easier to play than my others. And this is really cool - I've been playing it for about three weeks now and haven't had to re-tune once! Not even tweak it. I have to call Mike and see what strings are on it. It's also really great looking, flat black with "Cash" on the fret board.
Sweetwater does not disappoint. I ordered it on a Friday and FedEx delivered it on Sunday.

Very sweet guitar for the money
There is no better online music store than Sweetwater, they make purchases trouble-free and are so easy to deal with. The first copy I received of this guitar came super fast, but there were dead spots all over the neck past the tenth fret, so I had to return it on my own dime, which was kind of a bummer. They shipped me a brand new copy and for what it it sounds terrific and can take a beating. I bought this because I was planning on traveling around the country with my camper and I didn't want take along my D18 or my J45, I needed something that would be relatively impervious to temperature and humidity fluctuations and this fits the bill perfectly.
For a fully laminated guitar the tone is well balanced, its got decent sustain and has plenty of projection. For a beginner or travel guitar for $ it really can't be beat.
Jacked bridge
Sounds like total crap. The bridge was jacked from day one. Sent in for replacement. They said it was fixed and sent it back. Still crap. Save your money.
