I have several mounts on my drum set that use drum key square head pull set screws. Some need to be cranked down pretty good and your basic drum key doesn't have quite the leverage. This slightly larger key makes all the difference for me. Not obscenely large, it is tout enough for that extra torque. Love it.

I have been playing for over 40 years and never thought I would be reviewing a drum key but here we go. I got this key with my new PDP from DW kit and I have to say that as far as drum keys go this is the Rolls Royce of drum keys. It has a rubber coated handle for sure grip and comfort. It is well cast and fits all my tuning lugs like a glove. It is not your ordinary pocket size key but it is big enough that you won't lose it. It is very sensitive to touch and adjusts head tension to your exact specifications. Well worth the price. Works very well with drum pedal lugs as well. A very good choice to add to your gear bag.
