Works as advertised
The DW DWSM0909 works extremely well. Space for my drum set is limited and I wanted to add a splash cymbal to the arrangement.
Adding a cymbal floor stand was not going to work which lead me to adding a stacker. Setup was very easy and the range of adjustments
works perfectly getting the right position. I currently have a 12" Z Custom Dark on it.
This is a great piece of gear.
My biggest concern when buying this was: will it fit my Black Armory stands and will it actually hold up my cymbals without crushing the threads of the previous stand. I am happy to report that it does. This is a very ridged stand, there are double bolts on each adjustment area to really get a strong grip on the stand and hold it in place tight.
I had to lower my stand about 4" as the added height stuck up above where I wanted it to but this is minor and was resolved in a few minutes. The positioning of the upper cymbal is perfect. Currently I have two of these on my kit. One is holding two 18" Zildjian Crashes and the other is holding an Ice Bell above my 22" Ride.
