DW 5000 Series Hi-hat Stand - 3 Leg
DW 5000 Series Hi-hat Stand - 3 Leg Reviews
Our Sweetwater drummers will tell you that the DW 5000 Series Hi-hat Stand is a feature-laden treat for any tub-thumper. This 3-leg stand features hinged memory locks at its tube joints for easy setup, as well as swivel legs that make it instantly implementable, and a locking hi-hat clutch for the utmost stability. While most stands fold, the 5000 series stand has a patented uni-body folding footboard, so the footboard stays attached to the stand during storage and transportation. Additionally, the patented lateral cymbal seat allows you to adjust the angle of the bottom hi-hat cymbal. All in all, the DW 5000 Series Hi-hat Stand is a seriously contemporary take on the classic hi-hat stand.
Just What I Needed
Wanted a hi-hat stand that was sturdy, heavy duty and could extend very high. Decided to get this one after doing some research.
It checked all the boxes for me!
Excellent high hat stand!
Perfect. I originally had a two leg Mapex Falcon. Bounced around like a Mexican jumping bean. I am embarrassed to say I threw the two leg into the garbage. Wasted money! My DW three leg stand is solid and versatile! Love it! Don't throw your money away a two leg high hat stand. Folds up nicely! Thanks DW!
DW 5500 D tri leg hi hat stand
A super strong, super stable hi hat stand by DW. Road worthy in every aspect. In rock, pop, blues and country music the hi hat cymbals are the most used/played part of the drum set. The DW 5500 hi hat stand will never let you down.
Great hi hat stand
This thing is awesome. It's beefy, good action on the pedal, and plays great. Highly recommend.
Excellent choice.
I purchased this as an upgrade from my Pearl Forum series hi-hat. The unit is well built and functions flawlessly. Adjustments are easy.
Good drum hardware is an investment, and the DW line is no exception.
Solid as a rock!
As expected this stand is rock solid. Heavy duty. Works great with zero issues. Would recommend to anyone!
DWCP5500D Delta ll series Heavy Duty Hi Hat Stand 3 leg
This DW 5000 series High Hat Stand is just what I was looking for, for my 9 piece kit. I will not be transporting my drums anyware, so the weight is perfect for my usage. The quality and appearance of the DW hardware is second to none in my opinion!

Buyer
The very top adjustment piece on top of the hi-hat was stripped out and I could not tighten against the movement rod to hold the hi- hat in place.
DW 5500D hi hat stand
Smooth, easy to set up and very good looking.
Built to last a lifetime of playing.
This high hat stand is built so well! The only draw back is its weight, its heavy! But with that weight comes the stability that will make your playing much more enjoyable. Ive been playing drums all my life and have never had a high hat stand that was so smooth and secure. You wont be disappointed in this piece of hardware that most likely will last you a lifetime.
DW Hit Hat Stand
I had been for a replacement to my old Hi-Hat Stand. Since I already purchased a DW 5000 Bass Drum Pedal from you, the logical choice was a DW 5000 Hit Hat Stand. Like it a lot!
The Best Hi Hat Stand!!!
This hi hat stand is amazing! It is heavy-duty and silky smooth. Look no further if you're serious about investing in a high quality hi hat stand that is rock solid and made with high craftsmanship! Do yourself a favor and buy this now if you haven't done so!!! Btw, shout out to my sales engineer Evan Mulvihil for his awesome customer service!!!
Great, Solid Hi-Hat Stand
This is a great hi-hat stand if you're looking for something heavy-duty. The legs swivel to accommodate a double pedal. But if you have multiple pedals on either side of the hi-hit, you will want the 2 leg version. I had initially purchased the 2-leg DW 5000, but found that it was not as versatile on uneven surfaces. With only two legs, the baseplate serves as the third leg of the tripod. So if the stage isn't exactly flush you have stability problems. This 3 leg version doesn't even require the baseplate to be tightened in order to be rock solid. So if you mainly play single bass I would highly recommend this hi hat stand.
