Great bang for the buck
Just bought this guitar a couple weeks ago. It's a really nice, tonally-sweet, resonant solidbody electric. I was looking for a go-to guitar for most of my recording needs, rather than relying on, and usually being disappointed with, my 1000 other "okay" guitars. (1000 is an exaggeration. Or is it? ;) I just needed a "home base" guitar that was a cut above the rest. This guitar has proven to be just that. I'm very happy with it. Every time I pick it up, I'm impressed all over again by how tonally balanced it is, how sonically versatile it is, and how it plays. Feels great sitting or standing/strapped on.
I love the maple neck. I was never a fan of the funky bird inlays, and for years avoided PRS guitars that had them. Turns out those funky bird inlays have helped me "see" the guitar neck afresh! Was not expecting that. Each bird is a unique shape and, as a visual learner, they've helped me memorize new things faster. I also dig the 'tweener 25" scale length: longer than an LP (etc.) and shorter than a Strat (etc.).
Great guitar! Highly recommended. Whether or not your a Metal-head: it's just a fantastic all around electric guitar. Pickups are gorgeous-sounding and the 5-way pickup selector provides two extra "split"-ish tones are are also fantastic. Can't miss with this one! If you're looking for a main axe, this could be the one. It is for me. Just what the doctor ordered.

Amazing Guitar
Not only is this a work of art, it's playability and tone is superb. It feels so good in your hands like I've had it for years. It is absolutely beautiful. PRS locking tuners, Floyd Rose and just 2 knobs for volume and tone w/5 way switch. Less is more with knobs for me and the special neck along with the satin finish make this a one of a kind. Best guitar ever. Greg in customer service is also outstanding. My best and favorite purchase ever!

I'll make it short and to the point...an absolutely amazing hard rock and metal machine but also very versatile for other styles as well. It does it all and the build quality is top notch. I could play it for days, I dont wanna put it down!!! And as always Sweetwaters service is second to none, thanks Zach...you're the man!
