ROBUST BUILD
This hefty desktop microphone stand is engineered for longevity and performance. Quality materials, finish, and tight tolerances make this the one to buy. Hey, it looks really good too.
beautiful mic stand for my beautiful mic
Love this to display my mic and for using with computer, ordered and received within a couple days very fast shipping, and thanks for the sweets, Sweetwater!
Stout
Stout. Looks nice on my desk.
Love It
Great little stand. Very solid and sturdy base, doesn't take up too much room. I was a little disappointed the sticker peels off perfectly clean. I kinda liked the idea of the logo painted on there, but oh well. If you want a blank mic stand, the sticker leaves no residue.
Good
Does the job and does it well.
Mic Stand
Perfect for desk you!
Expensive but worth it
More expensive than your average mic stand, but well worth it. I bought the matching mini-boom stand and use this to hold an SM7B on my desk. I am now confident the mic/stand will not tip over or move at all unless I want it to move. Will definitely be replacing my full size mic stands with Atlas Sound stands.
Atlas Sound DS-7
I've been using Atlas stands since 1960, and this desk stand is all Atlas! It's very handy for one who wants to sing, play, see his levels and video monitors, etc.--all at the same time!
A good, solid mic stand
I was looking for a solid desk mic stand and this is it. I've mounted a Neumann TLM103 mic and an SE Reflexion Filter, together with a pop filter, on it, and it holds the whole weight quite stably. Nothing fancy, just a good, traditional piece of hardware that does the job it was made for.
Good for Blubird microphone
It works decent for the Bluebird microphone; but, a condenser microphone clip would be more sturdy.
Atlas Desk Mic Stand - Solid Quality
This is solidly built using quality materials and craftsmanship. I bought it to use on my desk in the studio and on the table where I perform as a host and emcee. The base is weighted appropriately and won't tip over if accidently bumped or if the mic isn't balanced just so as some of the plastic ones will. The paint on the base is baked on and won't chip of. The vertical shaft is adjustable, the threads on either end are clean and screw in solidly, and the chrome plating is not going to flake off. This is old school quality that will last a lifetime of use.
Not well designed, wobbly on desk
The stand is well built and heavy duty but the three rubber feet make the stand wobbly. The feet are not adjustable, so it really is an unstable mic stand.
