The Behringer DS2800 Professional 2-Input 8-Output Distribution Splitter is a well-priced but highly functional audio splitter that employs ultra-low-noise servo-balanced line level inputs for a clean, clear audio path. The DS2800's rear-panel Mode button lets you choose one or two channels of input and send those channels in up to eight directions (one in/eight out or two in/four out). You also get separate A and B link output connectors for daisy-chaining multiple DS2800 units or sending your input signal on to a FOH mixer or another distribution point. Each channel has a corresponding front-panel rotary Level control and a 5-segment LED meter that brightly indicates signal activity, so you'll always have precise control over channel amplitudes. Plus, all the XLR input/output connectors are gold-plated for the ultimate in signal transmission clarity and integrity.

Great for Streaming Audio
I bought this piece of equipment to send the same main outputs in stereo from my Behringer XR18 to my broadcast for live streaming without having to do a separate mix for the stream.
It worked flawlessly.
I sent my mains L/R to the DS2800 then out to my speakers. Using the DS2800 I was also able to send another stereo mix to boardcast for streaming.
Now I can concentrate on mixing knowing what I'm hearing is the same mix getting on my stream.
Splitter increases number of mixer outputs
Most newer mixers (other than the larger, high end ones) have no more than 3 monitor/aux outputs. If you need four or more monitors (or in-ear monitors), this splitter works great. Daisychaining monitors can result in uneven volumes and feedback. Connect a mixer output to the splitter and you have as many as 8 monitor outputs. Despite the fact that you can't get individual mixes using this method, it's a cheap and dirty way of expanding your PA system. It's small size makes it easy to use at live gigs too.
Great piece of gear at an affordable price
We run two of these in our PA rack to split our inputs between our stage mixer and the snake to house house and they do that perfectly with zero signal loss. Definitely a solid buy if you need to split to two sources.
Seems Too Good to be True
For a mobile DJ like me, this is an absolute life saver. For its price and build quality, it seems too good to be true. A case of Behringer making a legitimately fantastic product.

Did exactly what I wanted it to do. High quality, low noise, low distortion buffering Strei 1 to 4 balances driver. Only wish the chassis was finished if you remove (under) the rack mount ears - my installation is not rack mount. Sweet water has access to a great inventory for music pros and enthusiasts.
