I already had Addictive Drums 2 so I was familiar with XLN products. I spoke with my Sweetwater Sales Engineer Evan and was encouraged to try a transient shaper. Glad I did. It wakes up the kick and snare past what the AD2 effects did…helpful for a home studio guy like me.

Just get it or do yourself a favor and try the demo. This plug in blows every single transient shaper plugin out there right out the water.
Amazing Plugin
Amazing plugin. Price point is unbeatable. Delivers what it claims and more. I use this in every session since I got it. It is an absolute must have for your plugin collection. XLN audio knocked it out the park with this one. Sweetwaters backup support for this is above and beyond. Evan from Sweetwater followed up with me instantly via email and then phone to make sure I had no issues and if I had any questions or needed anything else. The extra personal touch makes a huge difference in helping me decide where to buy as there are so many places to get these.

Magic software
This is a great piece of inexpensive software to really help your drum tracks pop. I mostly use it on my drum bus after I'm already happy with my drum mix. DS-10 is the glue that holds it all together so that it sits well in the mix. If you don't believe me, I think you can try for free from the XLN Audio website
I only care about the way plugins LOOK.
And this one definitely looks cool. I like that it says "MOJO" on it. Usually if I find myself wanting more mojo I turn it all the way up and I get it. After all, that's what the knob says.
