Transformational Drumming
I'm eyeing this set of Remo Tubano nesting drums, as these are the drums used at a Senior Center we visit for drumming sessions. They are easy to play, store nicely due to the nesting option to store 2 drums inside of the 3rd. In our drumming circles, our leader welcomes adults of all abilities. He incorporates drumming to familiar songs, has us drum to familiar phrases (Apple pie, peanut butter pie, etc), and incorporates use of "egg shakers" in some songs. I enjoy these monthly sessions so much and feel so upbeat and energized after the hour-long session that I'm considering purchasing two sets so friends and I can drum on a regular basis to support our mental and emotional well-being.
