I love this kit, for a "affordable" or "mid range" kit. Love how it sounds been playing the rock sizes of toms being 13"/16" and kick being 24" and just love it and feels good. Love the sound and especially paired with heads and tuned well!

I bought this kit the play gigs with my band. I did a lot of research on different kits at different price ranges. I really was drawn to the vibe of this kit. I'll first say, the band members love it and it's so fun to play. Overall a solid build, I was impressed with how "gig ready" it was out of the box. Comes with a hole in the front head of the kick drum and an included bass muffler that works pretty good. Getting these drums tuned how I wanted them was not hard at all (started out with remo heads from the get go) I have not tried the tom mount, just using a snare stand. Overall really nice kit, would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful sweet sounding drums. Big big bass, and very round, full toms. Great stuff.

This kit looks amazing, sounds amazing, and is so easy to move around due to its light weight. It's a nearly perfect kit for the price. The only thing that knocks it down half a star (and I would only knock it down a quarter if there were smaller subdivisions) is the tom mount for the rack tom. It's a pain to install, and I personally had issues with it choking the drum while mounted. Putting my old Pearl ISS mount on it instead of the included one solved all my issues, and I wish pearl would just package one of those ISS mounts with the kit, and if you're planning on getting one of these kits then I would recommend also buying an ISS mount. That is my one and only complaint, and one that's easily fixable. The kit is amazing in every way and I'd recommend it to everyone. It's professional quality for a fraction of the price.

This an incredibly beautiful and amazing sounding kit! The shells are resonant and powerful enough for hard rock or metal, but also subtle enough for jazz. I'm very happy with these drums and they have made me a "Pearl" guy.

I wanted to try a 24 inch kick without spending a fortune and I'm already a very proud owner of a masters kit, so I decided to give these decade kits a try.

I was not at all disappointed with the quality; the finish on the drums is very pretty and looks far better in person than in the website pictures. The drums tuned rather easily and the lugs were all very smooth out of the box.

I paired the bass drum with an emad heavyweight and kept the stock Tom heads until I decide on replacements. All in all, I was very happy with the tone of the drums, the ease of tuning, the finish, and most of all the price point.

Give them a try! I'm sure the other configurations in the series are just as nice.

This shell pack is beautiful and breathtaking. These drums sound so deep, they pack the hardest punch. I've played on PVB for years, and find myself in love with the warm resonance of the maple. Sweetwater delivers so fast I was so impressed by everything. Everything I wanted and more!
