Wonderful guitar!
This guitar has been an excellent purchase, hitting all the points I was searching for. I'm just a self-taught amateur who was looking for features my current guitar does not provide. I was gifted with full dreadnought sized guitar when I was young. It's well-made, sounds great, but always felt too big. I'm a petite gal, only 5' 2" with small hands. I always struggled with bar chords and those with challenging finger reaches. Over the years I've always wanted a guitar that felt more comfortable, something that made playing easier. I only play for myself/my own enjoyment but thought about making a change quite often. Another item on my wish list was for an electric capable acoustic. Fast forward many years to the present day where opportunity and internet research pointed me to the Martin D Jr-10E Streetmaster. I viewed many online reviews and comparisons, considered all the features. This downsized model, with built-in pickup is a joy to play. It has the type of warm sound I enjoy the most in an acoustic. It's been about 3 weeks since it arrived, and I've played more in that time than I have in the past year. It's a beautiful instrument with a great sound. I couldn't be more pleased.
