this was an upgrade for me personally and I'm having fun with the fx. good for small spaces.

This Pioneer Mixer was out of stock, I got on the waiting list and received an email. I just on it and it was well worth the wait. This is not a beginner or club mixer but with all the bells and whistles, it comes with….gives you extra for a small package. The staff at Sweetwater was amazing as usual, follow up phone call and the sweets included in the package….thanks again sweetwater

If you're at all in the market for a 2 channel mixer, this is the best recommendation I think anyone can offer. Having the Pioneer quality in such a small form factor is great. Having everything derive from a NXS2 setup means that almost everything you do in practice will translate when you perform on them, also. And the added benefit of the Rekordbox licenses is great too.

The only 2 features that could make this mixer even better would be the addition of a booth output, and a link port for use with CDJ's. But the headphone output is loud enough that even on larger stages, a booth output isn't quite necessary; and when used with a laptop, the link capabilities aren't necessary.

If you're looking for something with great quality, good effects, and something that resembles Pioneer's larger mixers but without the need for 4 channels- this is the answer. I have experience with both the 900NXS2, and my little 450. And the experience and fun of performing is practically the same.
