Behringer Ultra-DI Pro DI800v2 8-channel Active Instrument Direct Box Reviews
The Behringer Ultra-DI Pro DI800 v2 Active Phantom Powered 8-channel DI Box is a rackmount DI with sufficient inputs to accommodate everyone onstage or in the studio. Direct Injection (DI) boxes, of course, let you plug guitars, basses, keyboards, etc. directly into your board. For impedance matching and signal integrity, they're indispensable. The DI800 v2 is a DI on steroids. With its active circuitry, it sports buffered inputs that won't pollute your signal (as passive DIs can). Boasting a bevy of boost/attenuation, groundlift, and connectivity options, Behringer's Ultra-DI Pro DI800 v2 is your audio Swiss Army Knife.

Another excellent product from Behringer.
Purchased this DI primarily to gain easy access to the rear inputs of my rackmount mixer. Not much to say besides it does what it says. Unit is electrically silent and the inputs and outputs are good and tight. I have no need for the -30dB PAD feature, but I can say that the +20dB feature definitely boosts the gain without introducing any clipping or distortion. The ground lift feature works very well. When I plug my PC into my mixer, the "ground hum" is unbearable and it takes more volume than I'm comfortable with to overcome it. With this DI, the hum is reduced a good 75% as-is which makes it all so much better; but using the ground-lift feature definitely knocks out 99 if not 100% of the hum. Very satisfied. Great value for the money without a doubt. Would recommend without a second thought.
...there is one small detail I must mention that does grind my gears a little; but it does not affect operation what-so-ever.
This is a personal complaint that very few may share. Maybe it's an OCD thing. The LEDs. *sigh* The LEDs on this unit do not match Behringer's other products. You will see this in the image I have included. The greens are very green versus the "lime green" of my other Behringer products. The Orange is dull and muted in comparison, and the Red looks like Orange. I will say that the LED colors do look "more professional" and in a way "more expensive" in person, but, the mismatch between component LED colors really jumps out. Again, this is an issue that is 100% a non-issue. It just bugs me, and it may bug you too. It's that whole attention to detail thing. Behringer being Behringer, I'm happy to say that this is the only place they dropped the ball.
Works AMAZING
This is really amazing DI, before using it I had issues with keyboards, electric drums, and a Guitar, but after adding it all instruments sound very pure and great. I really never thought it will change the sound that much but reality it did and now I have amazing sound comes from the instrument via the mixer.

Great Sound. Easy to use.
Good sound and value
I bought this to use with my Behringer X32 Rack for a small group in live performance. It has a great sound and was a good value for my needs.
Forgot it was there
We have a Roland TD-50 with 8 TRS analog outputs that are hot because their volumes control the overall drum brain volume too. (all but dimed is where they sound best to me on the monitors) We needed to cut them down to DI level for the FOH snake, and an extra pad was quite welcome also. This box is so good we literally forget it's there. We have an Apogee Ensemble TB and Symphony, they hear everything, second rate DI boxes, noisy keyboards, etc. Once in a while someone says 'what does this thing do?' I tell them it keeps the sound guys happy. Great features, good build, for this price when we need another one, it will be another one of these. It's also super-cool looking with its Asian-green lights.
Great multi DI box for the price
I have 4 of these units, using them everyday for 4 years now without a single issue - love them!
Replaces the need for DI boxes
This unit has cleaned up our stage from having 4 to 5 DI boxes laying around. Sounds amazing too! This was a great investment!!!
So far so good
Very quiet, easy to use module. No issues so far. Great value for the money.
