Solid Piece of Gear!

By Don Turner on May 12, 2023

I ordered several of these recently to add to my current stockpile from over the years. They just work. The switching and connections are solid and the ground lift is effective when needed. These DI boxes are built like tanks. Thanks for access to a great product!

Bought 2. 1 lasted 3 years, 1 still going.

I run sound for a small synagogue, completely setting up and tearing down each week, and usually less-than-professional volunteers doing the work. I bought 2 of these some time before July of 2016 (my order history only goes back that far), and one of them just gave up the ghost this last Shabbat. The other one is still working fine, so you bet I'm likely to replace it for an identical unit. Operating cost under $10/year, and decent quality? Of course that makes the congregational treasurer happy!

Not for me

By Skytown jonnie from Skytown on October 13, 2016 Music Background: Long Time Player

I my have gotten a bad unit, but I'm not going to bother with returning it. I'll probably just buy something a bit better. Using it as a DI, I had to crank the gain on my interface higher than if I just plug straight into the interface. Also, when routing DI and to an amp at the same time, the amp signal was very noisy. Ground lift didn't help.
