DI Box
Perfect for Keyboards and acoustic guitars is what I mainly use it for.
Bought 3... Good economy buy.
Using with Scarlett Scarlett 18i20 and Scarlett OctoPre by Focus right. Great for Accoustic Electric Fiddle and Ibamez 5 string Bass.
DAW: Reaper
Works great. It seems solid.
Note I have not used the parallel connection or the ground lift. My numeric rating reflects a performance/value rating.
I have been using this DI box for about a year and it has worked great so far. My application is connecting a bass guitar to a mic channel on a Yamaha mixer for practice sessions. The DI does not seem to add any artifacts. Nice clean bass sound.
The case seems quite well-built and the connectors are of reasonable quality.
Over all, a great DI for the money. I would purchase another one if needed.
Nice DI box
These work great and are affordable. The only thing I wish it had was a pad switch like my old Rolls DB-25 boxes. These do have ground lift though. I've used them many times without fail. Mostly used for guitars and basses because I hate amplifiers on stage. These are great DI's though.
Great Budget Alternative
This is a great passive DI box. Low noise and works just as intended.
Attenuator
I'm pleased with this Item.Regardong specs, specifically Attenuators: Generally speaking, do most(or all?) DI Boxes 'House' Attenuator's internally?
Works GREAT
Works GREAT
Works like it should!
Built like a tank and works like it should!

These Behringer DIs get the job done with great clarity, definitely going to be buying more of these in the future as my band grows.
I bought two - they work great
I bought two of these for our keyboardist, with low expectations because of the price. We've used them at several practices and they work fine. I am comfortable recommending them, specifically if you are looking for an inexpensive DI box to gig with. The only complaint I could have (and it's not really a complaint) is that the ground lift rocker switch is easy to accidentally bump.
solid. dependable and compact.
Needed three extra direct boxes. These have worked perfectly on every show.
Works as intended
Well built all metal construction. Ground works perfectly. Perfrct for DI into DAW.
Perfect Price
For the price, I have had no problems at all. Does exactly what it was intended to. Jake Landi really helped by recommending these to us.
Why spend more?
I was in need of a direct box and saw this one on sweetwater. The price was far below what most boxes cost so I took a chance on it. I was not even slightly disappointed. In fact, I have even ordered 2 more so I can leave one set up at home and keep the extra for a spare, although I have not had any problem out of any of them yet so the spare was given to a friend.
So good I ordered a second one
Several good music shops near me but Sweetwater beats them in selection price and customer service hands down! I still support my locals if I need something in a pinch but if I have a day or two Sweetwater gets my business. This DI is inexpensive and works perfectly so I ordered another so I have one for each guitar case I use on stage. Thanks Sweetwater!
just what I needed
I have recently switched over to complete software-based music creation and with today's modern hot guitar pickups, the signal would clip the inputs of my USB interface, despite its adjustable gain control... I knew this going in and made THIS purchase at the same time. The Behringer Ultra-DI DI400P passive box **just works** - I plug my guitar in one side & run an XLR cable to my interface. Boom, done. I DID have a huge amount of buzz, but the included ground lift switch killed that immediately. Now it's completely silent, does not require any power source, it's totally a "set it & forget it" piece of gear, which is GREAT. There is also a thru-put allowing one to send the XLR signal to FOH or to a recording interface and the unaffected 'thru' to an actual amplifier, as if plugging straight in. GREAT product!
No Nonsense box for light use
Needed a cheap DI for Church, used once a week and left plugged in all the time. It does what it's supposed to do and there doesn't seem to be any added noise. They're nice and cheap so if they get broken they are quick to replace.
WHAT I NEEDED AT A GREAT PRICE
NEEDED TO RUN THROUGH SOUND BOARD FOR RECORDING PURPOSES. DIDN'T CHANGE SOUND AT ALL.
Excellent splitter
I got this to split a keyboard to an amp and out to the PA. It's a very simple and direct little splitter that just does the job.
Buen producto!!
Muy práctico y a un precio módico.
Simple and to the point
For the money, this does exactly what I want it to do and is very simplistic. It allows me to use the effects of my combo amps through my PA system as my mixer does not have effects. It has other uses, but it is a very inexpensive way to achieve the goal I was trying to obtain.
Ultra-DI DI400P
I only bought one. It works fine. Don't pay more.
Eh...
It will split the signal properly.
Although it is EXTREMELY micro-phonic. Unusable.
I hardly used it not noticing the micro-phonic tone until I need to do some critical recording.
Now it's out of warranty... ugh. Granted... it was only $ when purchased. Now I need to spend more on a better built DI-box.
Bad Purchase Decision
I bought two of these and went cheap thinking all DIs would be about the same. One of the two works OK. The other introduced a loud hum that could not be removed. It was clearly defective. I guess I had a 50/50 shot of getting a good one. Will replace it with something of better quality.
don't buy this di
I bought two of these for use with my keyboards and one of them failed straight out of the package. Spend more and get a better product. This isn't a good product
