Sturdy stand but lacks articulation in one essential area near the clamp which attaches to mic stand. This unfortunate design flaw severely limits your options for placement of you iPad.

Good quality materials. Versatility is very good as it may be used in various positions. One negative is its claim that it can hold a tablet up to 13 inches. It extends to only to 11.5 inches. As usual, Sweetwater replaced it immediately. Unfortunately, the new one wasn't much better.

Works great with my iPad 10". Using it with the Fender Tone Master Pro. Just beware of the mounting options. Took me some time to get the exact placement in my setup. In the end, I only really had one way I could mount it on my rack, which wasn't my original desired placement...but it ended up working perfect. iPad has been mounted for a week, and it hasn't moved or loosened at all. Very happy.

I bought this tablet stand to replace an IK Multimedia Iklip 3. It served me well for several years, but the rubber ball joint began to shred, and having become a fan of Hercules guitar stands, I thought I'd give theirs a try.

It's immensely better and more versatile. Where the Iklip could only clamp onto objects like the post of a mic stands, the Hercules can do that, or mount to the threads of a photo tripod, or to the top of a mic stand (as in my photo), or to a desktop. And the clamps are metal, not plastic.

This is going to make a lot of things so much easier.

Overall, seems to hold the iPad very securely. My only complaint is that the slots in the holders (yellow in the picture) are barely big enough for the iPad without a case. I have a very thin case and it still is slightly too big for these slots. Still works, but not sure why the slots in the holders aren't just a bit wider.

Laptop clamp holds tight in any position and doesn't come loose after a good hard 4 hr session .

This is a very well made product. Unfortunately it didn't work for me as it will not hold my iPad unless I remove it's protective case which was not designed for easy removal.My iPad with case measures 11/16" thick and the Hercules holder only accepts up to 1/2" thickness. It would be helpful if Hercules and other tablet - phone holder makers would include in their product descriptions the maximum thickness dimensions the holder would accept without user removing protective cases.

I've used my iPad for 15 years (with the On-Song app) leading weekly worship and playing solo and band gigs. This Hercules is absolutely the best holder I've had. By far the sturdiest and most adjustable. The easiest to get my iPad or phone into or out of. I paired it with the portable Air Turn stand and the 2 together are a game changer for gigging and open mics or just taking on vacation.

Works great. Easy to clamp onto a mic stand; it did take me a few trial attempts when I first got it to get used to attaching/detaching.

My only gripe is that I need to take my iPad out of its (3rd-party) protective case. Not a huge problem, but the iPad is slippery without the rubberized case, ie, chance of damage during quick stage setups, and now you have to store your case somewhere (along with cables, stage tape, et al).

An amazing tool when studying and charting your music. Basically use it for song lyrics and mapping out chord progressions. Since the tablet holder is clamped on the Hercules vertical stand it, is very stable and saves me a lot of time when I am doing the chord progressions of the cover songs we want to siing and play ! I would most certainly recommend these !!!

This product is well built and allows for quick and easy attachment to a mic stand. My iPhone is extremely secure in the holder and large tablets would be even more secure due to the spring pressure of the gripping mechanism. I have zero worries of my phone falling out even if bumped. The 3 clamps allow for securing the tablet or phone in most any position for a perfect view. The product is a great value especially for the heavy duty build. Using this to hold my tablet vertical so I can read my show script during performances! Had to adjust the tilt angle since the tablet kept sliding down! The rubber holders weren't keeping it in place. Otherwise, it's a great addition to my performance equipment!

This hercules stand media holder is great for live performance application or for home studio use. I use this to hold my iPad during live shows for set list and new song charts that i store on my iPad. This lets me get rid of paper charts and set lists. It also makes it better to see charts up close to the mic or wherever you want to position it on you your mic stand. At the home studio it enables me to attach my iPad to my production desk. adjustable in many angles that you need.

I'm a singer songwriter who uses a keyboard for a good portion of my songs. This combination is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST for a singing keyboard player's mic and tablet mounting system.

The Hercules DG307B Tablet and Phone Holder works beautifully, on its own, as a tablet holder that you can clamp to your keyboard stand or mic stand (round or square) or a table top . The Hercules DG107B "Universal Podcast Mic & Camera Arm Stand" is an ideal mic stand that mounts to your keyboard stand. Using them both together you can create an ideal situation for holding your tablet/phone and microphone without having to use a floor mounted mic stand.

And, by switching interchangeable "arms" from one unit to the other, you can have a slightly longer "arm" for the tablet holder than the one that comes with it, so that you can place the tablet a bit higher and a bit more toward the center of your keyboard than you can with the arm that comes wth the DG307B tablet holder. This allows you to have an ideal position for you to see lyrics/chord changes/score while at the same time not blocking the audience view of you. AND, you can do this and still have the mic holder/extension stand mounted on your keyboard stand to put your mic in an ideal position whether sitting or standing.

Here's how. All component parts of both of these things are removable and interchangeable with each other. In order to make the Tablet and Phone holder able to place the tablet a bit higher and more centered, take the single arm off of the DG307B and replace it with the shorter arm from the DG107B (which is about twice as long as the arm from the DG307B). Mount that unit on one of the keyboard stand top arms. This enables you to bring the tablet to close to the center of your keyboard and also raise it to an ideal height for you and the audience. Put that arm you took off the DG307B on the DG107B as its new "lower arm". Attach the DG107B to the other keyboard stand upper arm and put your mic on the end of that extension arm. This allows you to place the mic in a perfect position for singing.

To my way of thinking this is the IDEAL way to be able to use a tablet on one stand and a mic on another, without having to use any floor stands..Total cost is just under $, and you have FAR less to carry when setting up for gigs. Your entire "mic and tablet stand" set up can fit in the outside pocket of your keyboard gig bag.

In addition, every component part is adjustable and the locking wheels turn down tightly so that nothing "moves" while you are playing. The extension arm even comes with a few velcro type wraps for a mic cable.

I had a cheaper tablet/phone holder that I started with for running charts at gigs but after it failed I decided I needed an upgrade instead of replacing the flimsy plastic accessory. I own other Hercules products and swear by their stands, and I can say that this did not disappoint. The build quality always impresses me with Hercules, and if you're looking for a tablet/phone holder, don't skimp out like I did at first. You'll thank yourself later and save yourself from a headache of not being able to mount a cheaper stand or watching it fall on you mid-performance.

Another thing I adore about this stand is the clamp mount itself that's super adaptable/universal. I've mounted this to mic stands as you'd normally expect, but I've also used it in a pinch on tables and drum hardware. It's wide enough to get around a thicker stand but can tighten enough to clamp on to many surfaces. Can't recommend enough!

I attach it on the front left side of my board. The cell sits perfectly and I just bend, reach and scroll.

Very cool little unit. Super easy to use, sturdy and fairly priced. I really dig how you can take off the one side and stick it on a a stand, if you so choose. And really it would fit on any stand. I bought one of these two years ago and have used it for a lot of gigs in many settings. The most noteworthy 'setting' was on the back of a bench on a river paddle boat for an afternoon cruise gig. I've had half a dozen different holders for my iPad (which I keep in an Otterbox case) and this one is always rock solid both in securely holding my iPad and whatever I clamp it to. Well done Hercules, well done!!

Great mounting and flexibility. However, the jaws aren't strong enough to hold a convertible tablet. Too bad.

The only issue was I wish they'd of put a ball joint at the connection at the base where it hooks to the mic stand. Other than that .. Hurcules always lives up to their name, great product, sturdy, and for the price you just can't beat it !

The protective cover for my Samsung Galaxy A9+ tablet is tight, and I feel like I'm going to crack the display when pulling the cover off. The grips on this holder are large and deep enough to hold my tablet without having to remove the cover! That's a big deal to me.

It's extremely versatile and easy to use. I have no issues and highly recommend it.

I have used a different tablet holder for a couple of years, and it has done a good job 99% of the time. This tablet holder is, in my opinion, much better! It will accommodate any tablet or phone that Open Mic performers can bring and is very strong and holds the device very securely. I appreciate that it is able to hold my tablet in landscape orientation as well as vertically. Easy to mount and adjust, and the grip on the device is very secure. As with all of the other Hercules products I own and use, I know I will get years of 100% reliable service from it.

I'm using this holder to uspport an Akai MPD218 MIDI pad. Although the pad is too thick to fit in the grooves on the holder designed for a tablet or phone it still holds it securely. The 360 adjusters allow you to position your device exactly where you want it.

This is my new favorite tablet stand. It fits in a gig bag and clips onto my mic or monitor mixer stand, doing exactly what I need it to do. I prefer it holding a tablet diagonally for extra security, and it does that well (though with its grippiness, I suspect it'd be fine holding from the sides).

I have no hesitation putting my ipad into this holder due to how sturdy it is, and how well-built the joints and springs seem to be. It is also easy to put my ipad in any position I need it in order to see lyrics or other materials, and as a bonus, the mounting mechanism is flexible enough for me to mount this on a counter top to use the ipad to take family photos or any number of other uses. Super great design!

Just received this today, but it is absolutely built to last. Works perfectly. Only thing is my tablet does not fit into the slots while in the case, however the "pegs" hold it very firmly and have a grippy texture.

I have an OnStage version that broke during transport- the clips are thin and snapped off in a duffel. This design is different and won't break like that.

I also find the mechanism less 'fumbly' than the other manufacturers design.

Works as advertised. Allows me to attach my iPad to my mic stand, and position it for proper viewing. It seems well constructed. I've only gigged with it a couple of times, so I can't say how durable it is.

I thought I'd lost my trusted K&M tablet stand and so I had to find a replacement. Based on other reviews, this one appeared to be a good option. So far, so good. I have since found my lost K&M stand (that I've probably used for 400-500 gigs) and I prefer this one. It's lighter, the tablet loads easier, and it appears to be secure.

I take online guitar lessons and use a Spark practice amp, so naturally I am dealing with a tablet quite a bit. I put this on my Manhasset music stand right underneath my sheet music. This holder is study and has lots of adjustment.

I spent more on others not half as versatile and as easy to use this as one.
Ironically, I'm using the stand of the table holder that did a very poor job of holding the tablet which cost almost double of the Hercules.
I attach the Hercules to the stand and able to quickly rotate the tablet horizontally and back to vertical when I want to with minimal time lost in the set.

The product doesn't actually come with an insurance policy, but I am using the term to describe how this holder makes me feel when I use it. It's really that well built. And where am I using it? Everywhere. Great for studio for the vocalists to have their lyrics ready. Perfect for the live performance or podcast. Or even add it onto a video setup and use as a monitor. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is it could stand to weigh less. I's kind of a tank But man you get something for the money. Solid tightening systems. Many angles and positions to check out. Quick / easy to load and unload phone.

I use this tablet holder on my mic stand when rehearsing with my band to learn songs before a gig. The first time I used it the clamps held so tight they cracked the glass on my tablet cover shield (which was a flimsy shield anyway). It is sturdy, holds tight, and is perfect for my needs. I would recommend the Hercules brand to anyone for the durability of their products.

I have always had a great experience with Hercules products. Gig in and Gig out rock solid reliability. This tablet holder may be a little pricier than other ones out there but it has some metal parts where others are just plastic. It articulates very well with two ball joint style knuckles offering almost limitless positions to get the tablet in just the right spot (as a drummer that sings occasionally, it really makes it easier to scroll mid song).

I already had high hopes based on Hercules' reputation, the this is just an excellent iPad holder. There's a ton of flexibility in mounting options and the thing's built rock-solid. Couldn't ask for more.

I have owned a few different kinds of ipad holders and this one is tops! Not only does it hold both ipad and iphones and both landscape and portrait modes, it can be used on mic stands, camera mounts and just about any surface thanks to its design. The many articulations allow it to be angled to many different situations as well.

Not my first Hercules product, and not my last. This works as advertised - holds a phone, a tablet, or, if you want to go low-tech, a clipboard!

This is the best Tablet Holder. I've actually bought 3 of them to use in different scenarios. This thing is sturdy and versatile. I actually have taken one off of it's extension pole and attached the holder to a mini boom stand so now I have a stand alone tablet stand. Works awesome.

I bought one of these for a gig so I could use an app to control my personal IEM mix. It worked great just clamped to my mic stand, but there's so many other ways to use it. The rod is threaded to accept a tripod mounting screw. The "holder" section is designed to be removed from the rod, so you can attach it to the very end of a mic stand, like where the mic holder would be. It just clamps over the mic stand's threads, instead of having to twist it on - quick. I also clamp it to my desk for use at work or in the humble home studio. I absolutely want to get a couple more so I can just move my devices from one to the other instead of moving the entire holder into these different configs. But one's certainly versatile enough to put your screen anywhere you could want it.

I needed a new iPad holder as I had dropped my old one for the last time (pieces of the hard plastic broke). I've used Hercules keyboard stands for years with no complaints, so this holder looked to be that same quality. I was not disappointed! This holder is sturdy, easy to adjust, and safely holds your device with no doubt of it falling. I've used it now for about six shows and it is worth every penny!!!

I really enjoy using my Lenovo Tablet to read chords. I bought this and other lesser products, and this just stands out as being the best. The Holder is so sturdy that I've attached a Music Sheet Holder to it. I would recommend this product, compared to others. My wife bought me a mobile tablet stand that was collapsible and had a carrying bag. It was so cheap that people walking by would make the tablet wobble. This is a much better option. As long as you mount it to a sturdy pole, you are set.

Easy to install and remove from a mic stand. Easy to set a decent viewing angle. Is stable in use, doesn't move... locks tight. Collapses and folds up to take up less room in my accessories case than many others I've tried.

One reviewer stated this unit would hold his ipad while still in the case. I use a Logitech Slim Folio keyboard case and it's just a bit too thick to fit in the DG307B so I still have to remove the ipad from the case to mount it in this holder.

Still, of the four or five different pad holders I've tried I find this is the best fit for me. Easy to set up, widely adjustable, sturdy and fits in my accessories case without having to take it apart.

If you're like me , then you hate buying things twice.I've decided if there's something I'm needing I go with quality and longevity. I have found that if Hercules makes it , that's the direction I'm going. Hercules products are well thought out, practically bulletproof, and easy to use.

I needed a device I could mount my iPhone onto my DW9000 hi hat stand as I use some apps for set list and click tracks to the ridiculous number of tunes the various bands I play in perform. This clamps to my hi hat upper tube with no problems and holds the phone securely. This fit the bill perfectly!

This thing is built like a tank. Holds large tablets, small tablets, cell phones, and I've even put my Boss DB-90 metronome in it for practice. I like it so much that I will probably buy another one so I can have my cell phone for video recording and my tablet for charts at a gig. I had some doubts before purchasing due to the width of the grip opening. Upon recommendation by my sales rep, Jordan Garrett, I decided to try it out and I'm glad I did. It's a bit pricey, but it is totally worth it.

This has been holding my ipad up at gigs for almost a year now and is such an improvement over my old ipad holder. It's highly adjustable, and switches from portrait to landscape quickly and easily (important for running our mixer off of my ipad).

I have the phone holder from Hercules and I love it. I had an upcoming gig and I borrowed a friend's tablet holder and was shocked to see how crappy a non-Hercules unit was. Unforgiveable. The Hercules holder is head and shoulders better than anything out there. I don't care if you got your unit for $, it sucks. Hercules is buy once cry once. Never buy again.

Seriously- don't cheap out on something this important. It's just not worth it. Grab the Hercules.

This was meant to be used on a hi-hat stand pipe, of which THIS does not fit.

Like many musicians, I have had several iPad holders. Each one had their issues. Either I had to take the case off to put it on the stand, it wasn't sturdy enough, would inevitably need to be readjusted, or it took much effort to make the adjustments necessary to insert the iPad or clamp to a microphone. The Hercules holder sets up quickly, is very sturdy, and even accommodates my iPad Pro. If you are tired of your old untrustworthy and difficult holder, you will love the quality, and ease of use of this unit. A big shoutout to Sam for great customer service and for the speedy delivery.

I'm using this to hold a current generation iPad Air. It works perfectly. Design seems to be very robust. Well constructed and tough.

Very pleased, will clamp to just about any thing. Will swivel and pivot to about any direction and tightens down nicely. Holds Ipad firmly with no fear of falling. Holds Phone snugly, the 4 grips also rotate if needed to hold a item thats has a rounded or odd shape.

I am seriously impressed with this holder. I had flawless video capability while it was clamped to my drum rack - I wasn't taking it easy either! This is the real deal.

I had been using the Air Turn Manos Mount for years. So I thought a comparison might help. The Manos Mount has less distribution or span of contact points. I have the largest 12.9 IPad and I had to add some rubber to the contact points on the Manos to make it contact the way it should. I have a very simple clear cover on my IPad nothing heavy duty or thick. The Hercules does a great job of handling the IPad. It's easy to connect and provides a pretty wide range of articulation and positioning. It can also easy connect to surfaces like tables. On the portability side I would say the Manos might win in that category due to its sleeker profile. But this Hercules Mount is also an excellent choice. Can't vouch for long term durability yet but it's pretty rugged, I noticed some ever so slight position creep but nothing serious. The larger iPad can only be mounted on the shorter width, on the sides when the iPad is oriented vertically. For smaller pads you should be able to attach the mounts on the longer dimensions so the pad would be resting its weight from the underside in the vertically oriented position. This would definitely make creep impossible. It's a great product and should not disappoint.

This is a really solid product. Well constructed and well designed. It's versatile in that it works with iphones AND ipads, PLUS it can clamp onto a mic stand, desk, or screw onto tripod (with the camera thread). I only wish it could also screw onto a mic stand. It feels and looks very solid holding my ipad which to me is one of the main concerns I had. I'd hate for my ipad to fall from that height onto the floor. I've only had it a couple of months but so far it's been great. Time will tell if it'll hold up with regular use, but it looks like it probably will. I'd definitely recommend it even though it's a little more expensive than some of the other ones I looked at.

I'm using this with my Samsung 10.? Tablet. I have hung it on a Hercules guitar stand at a jam when seated. I've also used it on a mic stand. Both worked great. It is expanded abought as far as it goes on the long side of the tablet.

Very sturdy. Holds large tablets. My microsoft surface 2 is 1/2 inch thick. Most holders won't hold anything thicker than an ipad or cell phone.

I really like this holder. It holds my phone in the position I need it in securely and without the phone flopping or moving.

I have ordered a few different kinds. This one is he best a holding the device as the two ends are spring loaded against the middle. The clap is good and if you wat to upgrade the clamp to something different, it has threaded connector to secure it to you own clamp or stand. I think I will get another one.

This holder works well with an old Samsung tablet (9.75" x 7.00" x .25"). It attaches to a mic stand, is very flexible, and setting the right position is very easy to do.

This phone holder is a great piece. It is made with a nice solid metal from the clamp to the holder itself, when you get to the holder it is plastic but it is a firm solid plastic not flimsy at all. Was recommended this by my sales engineer Justin. Glad he did now I trust my phone or tablet will be safely held on to my mic stand.

I needed an iPad holder and decided to not waste my money on a cheap plastic one. This one works perfectly for me. It's well made, sturdy and is made by Hercules, a brand you can trust. I have several Hercules guitar stands and when two of them went bad, Hercules replaced them at no charge. I had my receipts and they gave me no hassles.

I have one and it works great. I had a cheap one I bought on line. It turned out to be a pain in the butt. Very limited position capability. Barely fit my phone. Not enough room to plug in your headphones.
But with this one all of those problems are eliminated. Easy hookup,multiple positioning, and none of the mounts block any of the ports.Same ease with my tablet.

I finally decided to get away from the cumbersome notebook holding sheets of paper with song lyrics and bought an iPad. I researched holders that would attach to a mic stand and came across this item. I read that some buyers complained that they had to remove their iPad from its case before attaching it to the holder. Not me. My case is thin enough to be held securely without taking it out of its cover. The holder allows me to adjust my iPad to exactly where I can see it comfortably. Definitely a good purchase!

I was ready to throw the thing in the garbage (when I was already at the show). I had put my iPad in it grasping it from the sides. I walked away from my rig as it wasn't quite soundcheck time, and when I returned, I found my iPad had slipped down and almost had fallen out. I repositioned the iPad. About 15 minutes later I looked at my rig and the iPad had slipped down again. I was ready to scuttle the whole affair and use a music stand, when my intrepid keyboard tech (who is wise and efficient WAY beyond his pay grade) looked at my feeble efforts to fix it, came over, pulled my iPad out of the rig, gave the Hercules Holder a 45° turn and put the iPad back in clamped at the top and bottom (the way it should be). All was bliss and happiness again. My tech gave that little laugh he does when I huff and puff only to be vanquished by some trifling effort that solves my insurmountable problem with the barest hint of effort. The Hercules was rock solid without wiggle--far surpassing the $125 apparatus I was using previously (a brand not sold by Sweetwater). 5 stars for the Hercules--one star for the idiot keyboard player, me!

This holder works well for me. I use my tablet to see the words to songs. I attach it to a sturdy music stand.

I play bass in my church worship group, and since I use the Music Stand app on my iPad to access my weekly song charts, and use it in conjunction with my iRig Blue Turn, I did not need a big and bulky music stand sitting in front me on stage. The Hercules DG 307B tablet holder is exactly what I was looking for. It is well constructed, and holds my iPad firmly, and allows me to adjust my iPad to the perfect angle when I am playing. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a similar need.

After doing some research on iPhone holders trying to find one that worked for me, I came across the Hercules DG307B.
This is a very versatile piece of equipment and very sturdy. I can use it on a keyboard stand, mic stand and on a table with no hassle.

This really is the best iPad holder I could find. It has an extra axis of rotation that other products do not offer. I have used this both above the mic boom to hold my iPad in front of my face and to the left of the mic stand. Locks in place well and stays in place, and holds the iPad very well. In fact, the only thing I ever worry about is dropping my iPad when taking it out of the holder!

The Hercules Stand works well with my IPAD. I use the IPAD for backing tracks. The stand is adjustable and secure. It frees up space on the music stand for sheet music.

If you want absolute security and confidence in quality and holding power for your iPad or tablet, this is the one. I was quite happy with the K&M holder for my iPad 2 (also a very sturdy & well built product) but I had to take the iPad's case off to be able to mount it for practice and shows. When I upgraded to a newer iPad I wanted to be able to mount the iPad without removing the thicker Otterbox case. This one does the job very well and easily with the spring loaded gripping power being quite strong. More than plenty of gripping room and strength for the confidence I need with my equipment. The locking ball joint allows for any position or angle you could want. Even the few hardened plastics feel and respond well and you can tighten things down firmly and smoothly. The mounting clamp holds very firmly onto my mic stand.

I do not need the camera thread mounting, but have no doubt it will work very well for that scenario too. If I ever needed it will also hold my iPhone. For something used with every practice and every single show, the DG307B is well, well worth the investment. Your shows and your tablet will thank you.

I have admired the robust design of Hercules products for some time, and use a number of them. This absolutely the best tablet holder I have ever seen. I play a lot of shows, and prefer to use my Surface Pro 7, which actually a Windows 11 laptop with a removeable keyboard. It's not at all heavy, but does weight more than some smaller tablets. This holder is perfect, easy to use and position, and is extremely strong. I use it with my Hercules music stand with the shelf removed. A perfect combination that is extremely stable, and protects my expensive tablet.

This is a versatile tablet and phone holder. The tightening claps have a solid feel and the whole unit is tight. Barely holds a iPhone12 mini which is about the smallest phone there is, but I use it for a tablet and it's great.

I've tried many other iPad holders and this one is the best!

This is my second Hercules iPad holder. I use two in our live performances and I was impressed with the ruggedness of my other Hercules holder. This one has the same characteristics.

I used to ,for years, pack an unorganized songbook and have to pack a. music stand that never travelled well.
With this Hecules piece I have eliminated the music stand...bougjhtt a $130 iPad Air 2 and got The Setlist App(free) and it has changed the game!
This unit is well made....if a bit overpriced and does it's job really well...

This holder is the best I own but none of the companies seem to think about our tablets being in a protective cover. I never buy a phone or tablet without a armored cover. It does hold it but not as good. Just needed a little more space on the grippers. Heavy duty and well made. Love it. Somewhat pricey for us poor musicians.

I don't review everything I get from Sweetwater. Just the stuff that I think really stands out as punching above its cost or that does an outstanding job. This product is both.
Initially, after purchasing, I simply used it to hold a Kindle tablet for reading beside my recliner. Then I bought the IPad Air and Pencil. Even with a decent folio cover installed this thing will hold the iPad in any position you want. On a telescopic mic stand it is the ultimate recliner companion. On my two tier desk it is outstanding for Bible study and note taking. I have no doubt this will fit the bill for any phone or tablet needs you can think of. Great product and I'd buy it again in a second.

I have migrated thru at least four other brands of ipad holders. Most of them, at some point have spring or retention mechanisms fail, causing the device to slip or fall out of the holder, resulting in cracked screens etc.
Both of these Hercules holders work fabulously for a standard size ipad.
We play out, rock n roll, once a month and these have been a great addition to set up.
I carry two as inevitably, one of the other guys has a failure on his non- hercules holder.

Has been exactly what I needed. Constructed very well and without a doubt, it'll probably last longer than any iPad I will ever own. Definitely the one to buy if you're needing one.

I bought it as soon as it was available and now that I've used it at a show, I'm well-impressed. For starters, it has the most robust stand of any iPad mount I've ever used. I have an iKlip, which is pretty good, too, but everything is plastic, while on this, it's metal and feels very pro-grade. I also have a 1/4-20 articulated arm holder, which this thing destroys, because it holds the iPad out away from the stand at the exact right distance, no matter how I positioned the stand, and it's easy to adjust and stable. I found that, compared to the iKlip, the springs that hold the device aren't quite as strong, so I have less trouble mounting it in this device compared to those. This thing is made for the pros. Highly recommended.

Preorder and did not fit my iPhone 12 mini.

It's great like most Hercules products other than that. The springs are ways too tight. Could definitely see some devices getting slung across the room.

This is sooo close to being what I need to hold my 11 inch tablet. The design is great and it pairs well with their BS311B music stand, but the execution has some problems:

1. Springs are so tight that it really needs three hands to safely load a large tablet.
2. Swiveling "claws" pop out of the frame, get lost, and there is no place to get replacements (so far).
3. Padding adhesive melts in hot car
4. "TightVice" requires excessive clamping pressure to firmly lock in place.

All of that could easily be fixed, and probably would not be an issue in a home studio - but it's not quite ready for the road.
