Very useful with my mountain dulcimers!
I actually use one on my left hand when I play certain mountain dulcimer tunes and songs - ones that require me to slide up and down the fretboard a lot in the style of noter playing (except I use my finger instead of a noter stick),to help prevent excess string squeak and to protect my finger. Yes, the glove material can wear on the finger pad and/or finger tip area, which is why I bought more, but they stand up to wear pretty well! These are a huge help!
