Interference is a deal breaker
In a vacuum, this wireless system would be golden. But in the typical venue with other gear, audience cell phones, and wifi routers all working at 2.4ghz, I could never complete a show without multiple instances of one or more lights losing sync with programmed scenes due to interference dropouts.
I went back to reliable DMX cabling.
works great but
works very well but when the stage is nothing but wireless equipment not so good. The band I worked with used all wireless equipment. It was top of the line equipment, so it wasn't because of poor quality devices. The next band came on and it worked great, but they had no wireless equipment. The problems ranged from slow reaction time to not working at all.

Poor Implementation, good possibilities.
Ordered a Receiver and transmitter, both shipped quickly, but there is no way to charge them included in the package nor information about charging. You will have to supply your own charging device, luckily an old style phone charger will work, or order a charging station. There is no charge status indicator. Documentation is hardly sufficient.
So convenient!!

I have 14 of these receivers and have had one behave erradically in that time. Otherwise, the units have been great in a multitude of locations. It is important to check with on-site IT if data traffic is being bussed to a specific 2.4GHz parallel in order to optimize performance.

I am using 6 of these at a time. They have worked flawlessly. They also last a long time on a charge.
No more cables!
Works well, eliminated cables to the trees. Unfortunately, does not translate the moving head strobe functions that the wired setup is programmed for. Will have to see if I can re-program using the wireless system.

These work awesome! Easily another 10-15 minutes saved on set up time.
I have used another (cheaper) wireless DMX system previously that any of the units could either be a transmitter or a receiver. And I had issues mid show of the receivers changing from receiver mode to transmitter mode....it was such a pain in the butt! That is not possible with this model as it has dedicated transmitter and receiver. Highly Recommend!!
As good as the USB
I have purchased 8 of these receivers and one transmitter in order to allow my different DJ lights to communicate with each other in lieu of running DMX cables everywhere. They easily last me two weddings before I have to recharge them and have not had a signal drop yet. it is well worth the investment.
