Love to play this guitar
Started learning guitar about 2 years ago. I learned on budget guitars like Oscar Schmidt and this is my first real deal guitar. It blows away anything else I've ever played. The low tones are rich and strong and strumming chords sound perfect. Very comfy to play and I couldn't be happier with my upgrade choice. It's beautiful and I'm excited to pick it up everyday. This one has made me want to play more, so I've gotten better with this guitar. I'll probably want to hold on to this one forever. Sweetwater is also great customer service in an impersonal time.

recently i have been on the lookout for A Big Boy acoustic, ready to get to the next level from my jim dandy that i have learnt on. i did a vague search and just happened upon this guitar, not even realizing it was a new product! these burl tops are just to die for. that much more gorgeous in person. but baby the SOUND!!! they were not kidding when they wrote the description for this one. this is my first dreadnought, and also my first washburn. the comfortability is excellent and it is such a breeze to play. performance wise, exactly what i didn't know i was looking for!! coming up with any random grooveage comes so natural. i wish i knew how to describe the tone, it sounds unlike any other acoustic i have heard played. the knobs to tune the strings also move so smoothly and are comfortable to hold, really easy to get exactly where ya need. i know that sounds minor but it is legit so smooth - other companies knobs can be so stiff and tight! this will be my forever guitar, it already feels like an extension of myself (didn't know what that felt like before this.) thanks as always to Sweetwater for carrying the best of the best!! i don't know a Ton on pricing instruments, but i find this to be generously affordable for what this baby can do - can certainly spend more for less of a beauty! they thought of everything with this one.
Burled Poplar
This is a guitar with a striking visual component. I bought it because of the tonewood combination….plus it was fairly cheap . It plays well, goog tone and intonation. The disappointing point is that the wood panels on the sound board are not matched. They are offset about 1/2inch. I didn't notice it until I had played it for a while and had destroyed the shipping boxes. It sounds good enough and I don't think anyone will notice, so I'll keep it. Plus it was a learning experience…I'll always check the alignment in the future. My bad anyway cause I had the photos they always send you
