Great guitar!
Purchased this exact guitar recently. Has a nice mellow sound; play it at church events, through several pedals such as Chorus, Electro-Harmonix, Holy Grail etc. Very easy fingering, even up on higher frets using bar chords. Have no regrets at all! - James
Amazing! Bright tones. Sleeper guitar of the year!
Been playing guitar since 1979. I was born in 1968. Always had Yamaha guitars. Just bought one of these & am blown away by the bright sounding tone. Even the low 6th string has a nice bite. My DEMO open box was pretty much mint condition. Chris Kress my sales engineer always shines bright! Thank you again. My guitar probably has one of the most attractive burl top configurations. Beautiful. Electronics don't matter to me either. Washburn has made a wonderful guitar here. Please take my words 2 heart pickers!!!
Bought it for the "look" not the sound
I got exactly what I expected from a guitar of this price point. The fit and finish is quite good but the sound is mediocre. I thought the idea of a Burl Poplar top was kind of cool - and it is. The guitar is unusual in appearance which is what I wanted. It works for a certain venue but will not be replacing any of my other acoustics. All in all, it is a good guitar for the money.
