The Best
These are the only straps I ever use have been since they came out I have them on every guitar I own. Never had o e break no matter how rough I was on it
Basically the Perfect Strap
Before switching to the ClipLock straps, I ran through the gamut and found that the 'best' iteration of strap locks was the Schallers for me - but I always hated how bulky and protruding they were: Especially on my older Les Paul, where I'd sometimes stab my forearm with the button. I've since moved on from LPs, and found the Dimarzio ClipLocks and man... there is no turning back. I have them on all my guitars. They're lightweight, comfortable, and I never have to worry about them coming out. If they do, something is well and messed up. I'd love for them to make the microfiber straps in more than just the artist series, but for now I'm perfectly content.
Not worth it
I bought this because I prefer locking straps and it seemed like it would compliment the color scheme of my Nita Strauss Jiva.
It was impossible to install it while following the instructions to the letter.
The screws I needed to use, per DiMarzio's own instructions, did not fit through the metal ring in the material.
A complete waste of time, money, and effort.
Give it a miss.
It works!
Great strap that does exactly what you would expect....it keeps your guitar around your neck and makes sure it doesn't separate from the strap if you decide to do something stupid...4 stars because I can't get that excited about a strap and a don't like looking at the locking bit when the strap is detached and the guitar is hanging on my wall....more my problem than the strap :-)
