Glad I bought it
I'm not a musician, but I try to be, and over the years I've had a bunch of instruments. Currently I'm playing a Gold Tone AC-12 Composite hoop banjo, and I like it, but I thought I might want to spend a little more, since the banjo (unlike all those guitars), seems to be working out. I had my sights set on a Gold Tone CC-Carlin banjo, but they are out of stock. For less money I was able to get this Deering, and best of all, it's made in the U.S. (think resale value). I can't even find a blemish on this thing, the fit is superb, and it has the wooden sound I won't get from the composite hoop. All told, I think Deering has my business from now on.

Fast service and stupendous packaging. Someone had obviously gone over the instrument before shipping to be sure it was up to par. It was in tune, the bridge was correctly placed, and all the pot bolts were tightened to the same tension. I was impressed with the 2 yr warranty and access to experts for any problems. They have me as a future customer.
