Extremely Surprised!
I was having dead tone issues on my Yamaha 5 string. I have tried A different set of strings from many maufacturers every 2-3 weeks. Was about to do some serious upgrades. Put these on and they are the perfect match. The really Kool thing is I can go from slap to finger to mute without making any adjustments to the Bass or amp. I do run a compressor and nuthin else. I will be using only these on my Yamaha. What I have learned is to find the perfect stings for your particular Bass regardless of brand.
Excellent
I have used Slinky strings for about 18 years. I recently purchased a new Fender American Deluxe Jazz V bass. This bass came with stock Fender strings in this gage. My string of choice does not come in this set up so, I purchased these as a temporary fix until I could take the bass to a professional to have it set up with a larger B string. I know its easy, but I am not going to file on a nut.
I have been very pleased with these strings and they have become my string of choice by accident. They have great tone and last as long as any other string I've ever used.
As of now, I will continue to use these.
I usually purchase the from Sweetwater, Best customer service of any company I've shopped at.
Best Strings!
These are the best strings I have ever used! They sound great and feel even better. They are the perfect fit for my ESP LTD Elite J-5.
