ATTACHING/REMOVING BELT CLIP
The adapter is in two parts, screwed together. The one I got had the belt clip attached and I wanted it detached so I could plug directly into an XLR combo jack in my amp.
Use a pair of pliers (I recommend the StewMac Soft Touch Pliers. Gently loosen the top (the thin, tapered part). Unscrew from the bottom.
If you are moving the belt clip, slide it off and replace it with the small band provided and screw the adapter together. If you are adding the belt clip, slide off the small band and replace it with the belt clip.
Photo attached shows the whole adapter in an exploded view. Second photo shows the adapter and the soft touch pliers.
How to mount the belt clip to the adapter
How do you attach the belt clip to the adapter. I have this product and it arrived as two seperate items. I can not find a single demonstration online or even an instruction manual to illustrate or explain this. Can someone help with this issue?
It does the job
I got this for a DPA 4065 so I could use it hardwired. The belt clip is well designed and the transformer works well.
