Martin D-45 Left-handed Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar - Natural Reviews

6-string Acoustic Guitar, Left-handed, with Spruce Top, East Indian Rosewood Back/Sides, Mahogany Neck, and Ebony Fingerboard - Natural

The most sought-after and decorated of the Martin dreadnoughts, the flagship D-45, looks, sounds, and plays better than ever for 2018. Martin's choice of antique appointments — butterbean gold tuning knobs, hand-set abalone inlays, and an aged toner finish — give this guitar lustworthy prewar visuals. But modern advancements, including a slimmer-taper neck and bass-enhancing forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing, make the latest D-45 a top performer in any hands. The top-grade spruce soundboard and East Indian rosewood body, mated by Martin's coveted dovetail neck joint, sound as rich and full as ever. And like any high-end Martin, your D-45 is sure to appreciate in tonal value with every successive strum. Get the best the Martin standard series has to offer with the new D-45 from Sweetwater.

Well Worth the Price

By Ronald McMasters from Chester, VA on January 27, 2023

I've waited for this guitar all my life and never thought I'd ever be able to hold one much less own one. But with the help of Anthony Giraldi, Senior Sales Engineer, I finally have a D-45 to call my own. The sound is absolutely amazing! Deep bass, clear, sharp resonance, and sustain from the Heavens. It feels like a dream and my hands are not worthy, but it's all mine! The workmanship is flawless and the appointments really make this guitar stand out. My D-35 is my normal "go to" guitar, but when I play the D-45, I completely forget that I own a D-35. Is it a status guitar? Sure. But once you play it, you'll be a lifelong fan. My D-45 was definitely worth the wait and a special thanks to Anthony for making it happen.
