Best acoustic ever
I've got an early edition of the 1937 D-28 Authentic VTS and it was the absolute best investment in a musical instrument I've ever made. I have played all levels of bluegrass music for 30+ years and this instrument can do it all. From subtle finger strumming to 200bps flat picking to very detailed runs in combination with straight rhythm back up, this guitar is phenomenal. I wouldn't trade it for anything else out there - any-thing! Martin designers/manufacturers in this area are genius and running an original 1937 D-28 through the Smithsonian electronic gear was a Martin all time highlight.
1937 Martin authentic D-28
purchased 10/27/2022 arrived in perfect shape in tune and ready to play. This guitar is my best sounding martin but purchased as a collector piece. Only issue I had is the description lacks information as to truss rod, it's a vintage T style fixed truss assembly, neck is straight as can be though also has a really fat neck (just in case you plan on playing). highly recommended for traditional bluegrass player. I have several martins, hd-28v, standard d-28 etc..
