Worth every penny
It's hard to put into words how incredible this guitar is. I'm not going to nerd out on specs and specifics, as that information is readily accessible. What this guitar did for me was get me out of a musical rut that I was in for close to two years. The guitar basically plays itself. Everything about the quality of the build is immaculate. I couldn't find a single flaw. From the flame roasted maple board to the purple burl top, it's an absolute smoke show. There have been zero hardware flaws. Once I got my lighter strings thrown on, and lowered the action a smidge, this guitar became a riff machine. I've always been skeptical about signature guitars, but what's cool about this one is you can hardly tell it's a sig. It really just feels like its own thing. Jason Richardsons name isn't like carved into the headstock for everyone to see. It's much more subtle. Super classy. Love the dots on the fingerboard as I've never been a huge fan of the Petrucci inlays. Here I am nerding out lol. But I just love this guitar so much.
One tiny complaint which has absolutely nothing to do with Sweetwater is that I wish it came with the hardshell case. At close to 4K I wish they continued to ship these with the hardshells. No biggie! Thank you Sweetwater and Ernie Ball for being excellent companies and providing the sickest instruments. 5/5 all around
Amazing guitar
This is one of the best guitars i have ever played, the fit and finish is astonishing in person and the feel is like none other. Even being a 7 string this guitar can do any genre of music literally the coil splits give you true single coil sounds and feel and the onboard boost is great for boosting a solo without a pedal. The neck on this is amazing too it's not ibanez thin but it's also not too big it is literally perfect this thing roars through my dual rectifier, the pickups are some of the best i've heard too. If you are on the fence about this guitar just go for it you won't be disappointed!!
