Schecter Corsair Bass - Gloss Black Reviews
In a nod to their very popular Corsair semi-hollowbody electric guitar, Schecter is beyond pleased to offer a bass version. The Corsair Bass features an arched maple body with classic, stage-ready F-holes, pickguard, and eye-catching chrome Z hardware. An ultra-smooth, playable 3-piece maple neck with ebony fingerboard makes those grooves easy on the fingers. And a pair of EMG TBHZ pickups kick out stellar bass tone. A classic Tune-O-Matic bridge and Tailpiece Bass provide great sustain and tuning support. All of this eye candy is tied in beautifully with the cream, multi-ply binding.

Super Duper
Fantastic bass that is very versatile despite its 2 band EQ. The EQ with the single pickup fader provides a thumpy neck pickup sound, if that's your thing, or a tight focused bridge sound that still provides a solid bottom end. I like the fader straight down the middle played with a pick for a heavy and beefy modern rock tone. I'm using this in a heavy down tuned band and it sounds fantastic even with loads of gain. The active t-bird pickups never get too muddy and have great articulation. No absurd neck dive at all and the particular instrument I received has flawless fit and finish. I was surprised at how skinny the neck is. It's very easy to play despite the gloss finish, which I generally don't care for. None of the dreaded drag yet. It doesn't come with even a gig bag, which at this price point it should at the very least. I ordered the Guild Starfire Bass case and it fits absolutely perfectly. Snug but not tight. Overall extremely happy with this bass.
