Red Panda’s Context 2 reverb pedal is a veritable effects workstation, boasting eight unique reverbs inspired by the beloved rackmount units of the late '80s and early '90s. From a subtle room reflection to a wide cathedral wash to glitched-out granular reverb, the Context 2 comes loaded with a studio-ready echo for guitarists of any style. Red Panda could have stopped there, but fortunately for us, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The Context 2 also sports a powerful delay, tremolo, modulation controls, frequency-shaping tools, and dynamics settings that offer a near-endless level of sonic exploration. Once you’ve dialed in the sound in your head, a built-in preset function is available on the left footswitch to save your setup, with up to 127 more presets available via a remote footswitch and MIDI.
Amazing Reverb
Running my synths through this reverb makes the bass tones sound huge ...I've only had it a few days still learning all the tweaks, but definitely would recommend this reverb... The Tensor is definitely on my next to buy pedal...
Definitely better in stereo
There are plenty of reviews detailing a lot about this pedal, here is my quick take. Definitely sounds better in stereo, and the web editor is great and super easy to use.
Great sounding reverb
I love the versatility and all the functionality this pedal has to offer. What I love most about it is how it sounds. Very natural and crisp. Having the Hi and Lo equalization is very useful.
I have and have had many multieffect reverb (HOF, Immerse, Big Sky, Slo, etc)
This my absolute favorite.
Great sounding pedal
This pedal is ridiculously deep- I know I have only scratched the surface, but I LOVE the sounds I'm getting. The granular delay is spooky fun, the tremolo on the spring reverb was a super nice surprise as well. Great pedal if you want to use reverb as a heavy effect. I've only played my guitar through it so far, but I'm positive this would sound awesome on synths and drum machines as well.
