ART CleanBOX II 2-channel Hum Eliminator Reviews
Welcome to the CleanBOX II from ART! "Hum" in an audio system is often caused by loop effects which act like antennas. These loops can easily pick up a 60 Hz (or higher harmonics) hum transmitted by electrical wiring. Typically, these loops are connected via grounds, more commonly called "ground loops". The safest way to eliminate unwanted noise is with ART's CleanBOX II.

ART CleanBOXII - Filter a bit too much
This unit does what is supposed to, and some more. It filters out the bass. It's like an automatic low cut filter. My keyboard lost all the lows. It's like I engaged the 100 Hz high pass filter on the mixer. Definitely not good for keyboard or e-drum module. Should be great for acoustic guitar or other instruments that need the high pass filter anyway. I have the EB Tech Hum Eliminator HE2, and that model does not degrade sound (remove bass) like this one does.
Filters low frequency
This eliminates lots of low frequency along with hum. Not recommended. You need an isolator not an audio filter to eliminate hum
Didn't really work for me
I tried it at main different points in my signal chain and it didn't really work. I ended up getting the MXR Noise Clamp.
What is this? Cuz is not a noice reducer.
This devise did nothing other than reducing the input level and taking away lots of headroom.
Loos of low frequency - Bass
I lost the bass and overall quality of sound.

Is cheap, small, and it works great! Used at a church, with excellent results. I believe it works better than the 'Ebtech hum eliminator'.
