I have sworn by Aquila and also Martin uke strings but I kept having intonation issues anytime I got above 4th fret. And the usual suspect was the 2nd and 3rd strings. The two thinner ones were fine. Anyway I kept looking and realized these had much thicker strings and therefore higher tension. If you have issues where your first and third string sound okay together open but strumming at higher frets they fall out it's probably you're fretting too hard like I did. Try these. They sound just as good as Aquila and Martin and they don't go flat. I have a high end uke so it wasn't the uke. It was me.
