Beautiful Quality small guitar
This is a wonderful small guitar. It is so well made and the shorter scale and smaller nut make it easy to play. Don't let the size fool you this is loud, crisp, and clear. I think the quality is equal to Martin level. Buy this and you will be so happy. PS great gig bag too. A good low set up will help beginners.

My 13 year old grandson is about to graduate from baritone uke to parlor guitar. We bought him a Yamaha SCF1M which we'll give him at Christmas. I was a little concerned ordering a guitar online without the opportunity to play it first as well as the issue of possible damage in shipping. I'd heard good things about Sweetwater and thought I'd give them a try.
The guitar arrived in perfect condition and already in tune! He is going to love it. During the process of placing the order and waiting for the guitar to arrive, I spoke on the phone with Jon, a Sweetwater Sales Engineer and really a sort of concierge who answered all my questions and was very helpful.

Terrific Parlor sized instrument
Pulls it's weight well beyond the modest price point. Excellent construction and extremely comfortable neck and body contours.
Sweet as a fingerstyle guitar - enough brightness to keep individual notes sparkling but the bracing and back and sides deliver beautiful mids and an overall warmth. Also, a great blues fingerstyle machine!

Great volume and brightness
I tried quite a few "smaller" body guitars before selecting this one. I thought it blew away for FS800 and was toe to toe with the GS Mini. I think for the price, WITH electronics and its high quality are the reasons why I chose this over the GS mini and FS800. I highly recommend this guitar!
